It's almost like they never checked Craigslist or Ebay before throwing out prices for those items. I haven't seen anyone pay that much for an iBook in years! When selling anything you can get lucky and have someone who clearly didn't do their research offering you double the value, but it shouldn't be expected.

I'd like to see them get even 1k for that scooter when you can get a new one online for less than $700...

I think Steve is still the king because he got what seemed like a much better laptop out of the first trade. The G4 Mac laptop is way outdated and slow. Both of the final trades (scooter and dirtbike) were from people who said they traded because they couldn't use them anymore, which makes the final trade a tie.

No brainer, the dirt bike all the way, this is about traders, if they have to keep trading, you can easily trade the bike for a car. The scooter although valuable would be harder to trade mostly because many elderly citizens get subsidized to get those for cheap so they can afford them, no many people will pay 2500 for that.

7vin, He should win because what he came out with in the end. They started with the same items but 7 traded from the iphone to a G4 ($1000) then to the scooter which had a MSRP of $2500. Steve went from the phone to a HP laptop ($1700) to the dirt bike which had a value of $2500. There is a $500 dollar difference in laptops, with that being said 7vin had a lesser value item but came out with a equally valued item at the end. That's why 7vin should be crowned the Barter King.
