What too many people tend to do is make an attribution error and believe that ones circumstances are of their own doing and nothing else. Homeless people and poor people aren't that way because of their dispositions. Governments are to serve the people, whatever their needs are being protected, helped, whatever and right now, on a global scale, this is not happening.

It is not the government's place to redistribute wealth. That money belongs to the people and giving it to others is redistribution of wealth which is theft. Businesses provide jobs for people.
