Been to see them tonight at Newcastle, England. Phil is my idol, been playing the guitar for 14 years now all through this guy so imagine my happiness when he gave me the thumbs up TWICE tonight. I was right at the front barrier screaming like a 12 year old kid. He's (and the rest of them) such a nice, down to earth guy. Long live Def Leppard!!!

Have you seen how buff Phil is now??:) Did you know that he turns 50 this yr., if he hasn't already. And, he's an animal lover, PETA spokesperson, and vegetarian- making him even more attractive in my opinion! Met him in Vegas at the VH1 Rock Honors. He was so nice, even though it was 4 am and we were all so tired. Ran into him at Starbucks 4 hrs. later, with his family and in-laws.

Not only is he one of the best guitar players I have ever heard, I was blown away when I found out he did the lead vocals to "Stay With Me" on the "YEAH!" album. He sounds so much like Rod Stewart. I actually thought they had gotten Rod to sing the song.

I was almost run over by Phil's van, he was leaving to get something to eat before the show they were to play, and we were standing at the backstage are (it was an outside show) and here comes a van and I see Phil looking and waving thru the windows as I sidestep the van. The clip of Phil introducing himself reminds me of the clip on the Visualize video where he says "Hello I'm Phil Collen" and Rick Allen goes--"and I'm not." LMAO Oh I love these guys, Awesome tribute.
