actually he just lost 10 euros. to analyze this trick we must know how much money did he have at the end of the transaction. well he had 30 euros but he still have a debt of 20 euros, so we minus that to 30 and we get 10 euros, so in the previous transaction he had 20 euros added on the box but at the end of the transaction he got only 10 euros making him lost 10 euros
