  • how did he fall? he was practicly driving in a straigt line and he didn't puch his front brake

  • damit....miss you Sven ...RIP

  • Rip friend. we will miss your vlogs.

  • RIP bro, gonna miss you

  • that looks deadly fun!

  • The Heineken advert is shit.

  • The mirror! :(

  • is this this only way you can get one of those custom brake handles :P

  • good old black ice, gets us every time

  • @wolfe1970

Wrecked my rebel three weeks ago. Did the same exact thing at 35mph. Bruised ego, but lesson learned.

  • @Xeil a few times ive gone out to my bike, seen the roads and walked straight back in, just isnt worth the risk

  • thats why you wear a helmet and gear!!!

  • lol he doesn't learn from the first time. DON'T RIDE ON ICY ROADS

  • @azarrrr1

You don't know it's icy until it's too late. I rode in wet weather all year up until my crash and it didn't seem icy at all. That's why it's called BLACK ICE.

  • and thats why you dont ride in the rain wet roads or icey roads

  • your friend drive safe but shit still happens !!

good luck that your friend is ok.

  • fucking hate ice snow is fine tho i ride all year round to

  • Did the same thing on my 1986 mtx 125, on new offroad type tyres in the rain at 50mph, I didnt have any protection except boots and helmet, I slid down the dual carriageway into the oncoming traffic on the roundabout, cause im cool as fuck I picked the bike up, assessed the damage to myself (skin off elbows, chunk out of my wrist and aching shoulder) and rode home, cleaned myself up and went out on it 10 mins later, ill stop riding when im dead!!

  • Sorry dude! Be safe n stay upright

  • That happened due to, 1) it was wet 2) poss. tire condition and thirdly, you didnt lean into your turn. You turned the bars.

  • put the bike to garage and take out snowboard it's winter ffs

  • you drive like a jackass

  • I'll say it for the 56878 time: Don't ride your motorcycles before the last piece of ice is melted or the possibility of ice formation is gone!

It's not the ices' fault, its yours

  • @MladenPenava

    /watch?v=Wscso2cGzr4&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

here you'll see me riding in conditions far worse perfectly safely

It was either go to work or get fired. If you think people go on road bikes in winter for fun your mistaken

sincerely, The guy in the video :)

  • @superjackhamm3 I really didn't mean to be offensive. I see you ride good ;)

But I just suggest (IF POSSIBLE) taking a bus or something like that to get to your destination because, as you see, you risk your life, you put others in danger as well and you crash your precious bike..

    That's quite bad isn't it ;)

    Cheers mate :D

  • Yeah man see ya later ahaa so chilled out about it :)

  • damn that must hav sucked

  • Im glad ur ok

  • How calm can you be? I had to lay my R6 on the left side and I was so pissed. I am glad your ok and I never laugh at motorcycle crashes but you was so calm and then a little whistle comes when you stopped sliding. It was funny but again glad you're all good.

  • I like how he keeps cool all the time.

Like "Okay, i've crashed.....now i take my bike.."

    Glad he is fine btw.

  • I pulled over in ice for the fear of doing this, then some cocky dick on a scooter comes belting past at 50. locks his back brake and slides clean off into back of car.

I have the YBR (same as in vid) and the tyres are so narrow its easy to lose control on ice/snow :/

  • I hate motor cycles!!!!!!! To fast and to much weight made by the engine!!!!!! Motorcycles are very unsafe compared to cars. Seen a poster on the back of a bus a few months ago saying that 36% of motorcycles are I'm crashes. That's shocking I think.

  • @4L3X4ND3R5 lol

  • @4L3X4ND3R5 your just a pussy and probably fat too

  • :O

    Glad U IZ OK.

  • I came off my 125 the same way 2weeks back, fuckin wet road, infront of 50 ppl lol. but the bike landed on it's left side (due to turning left) took off my gear lever and foot pegs, and sore bum lol But not 1 scratch on the plastics.

  • ugh, i once fell at 80km/h on a icy road going straight forward. it was the first hail storm of the year, and in 1 minute there was like a 2mm layer of ice on the road. the weather forecasts didnt even see it coming.

really awfull feeling to just feel your back wheel sliding away.

i also once fell just like the way you did in this vid but while going 10-15km/h on a very icy :P

  • to bad but why is there ice on the road ? the sun is shining thats real bad

  • @chris2010 winter just because the sun shines in winter doesnt mean its warm

  • @chris2010 In the winter the coldest days are when the sun is shining, no cloud cover means freezing temperatures...

  • Glad your ok mate..

  • Wet roads? Not to bright.

  • Same thing here a week ago. The road was wet, when I brake, it slipped.

  • been there..

  • At :04 you can hear his helmet smash the pavement.

    Always Wear Your Helmet!

And don't forget to have an helmet cam to upload it later!

  • Much props for surviving. Takes balls to ride in icy conditions. Glad you're okay.

  • HONDA 125 FAN OR TITAN RSRSRS

  • Black ice,Nasty, take the bus bud. Glad you don't ride a Goldwing. Hope your ok, at least you had the propper gear on.

  • All season riders...hard core..

  • how did that even happen? I didn't know it was possible to ride straight and get the wheel to turn all the way left on its own

  • Glad to see you got up and bike wasnt destroyed!

  • Ah Memories, fuckin' ice :)

  • Epic! Just like one of your vids Sven... :-)

  • Honda Cg125, what a lovely bike :)

  • at least u got it on film ,, its alway good to show the grand kids

  • if your goin to crash do it in style... nice 360

  • Looks like he hit a patch of black ice. Nasty stuff.

  • Quick and painless, the best way to go down. Although pain comes quick after the adrenaline and amazement has worn off.

But not knowing what's coming is better than expecting it to happen.

  • oilor disiel on d road

  • And thats why we wear leathers and helmets, so you can walk away from your mistakes

  • @brummiepride I hear that, wrote my CBR600F off a few weeks back, landed flat on my back, without spine protector and helmet with leather,i'd have been torn to shreds and possibly paralysed with brain damage.

  • black ice spot?

  • 0:03, nothing more to see after that...

  • Strada ghiacciata? Non trovo altro motivo, l' importante è non esserti fatto tanto male.

  • crashed my bike today...it suckss....

  • I dont recognise that honda. What model

  • @Kottsson Looks like a CG 125

  • is the bike ok???

  • dont ride a bike in winter...

but you are lucky you just crashed a cheap ugly bike..

  • Damn, I crashed my motorcycle today. I was going slowly over a narrow humpback bridge when a 4x4 comes fast towards me. I braked but skidded on some black ice and crashed into the wall of the bridge. No injuries though, so that's good. The funny thing was that when I was waiting for the recovery truck I witnessed an accident between two cars on the same bridge. I'll definitely be avoiding that road in the future.

  • this is insane.

  • oh man. you looked great

  • used to happened to me.

but not on an icy road.

i was gonna pass a motorcycle then he suddenly pull out to the right (driving on the left lane in malaysia) to go into a intersection, then i was worried that i would hit him because i thought i saw a boy riding with him, so i pulled the front brake hard that made the front tire skids.

and the rest is like in the video except that guy just rides away without even looking at me.

  • Omg i hate Crashing and people are just sitting there watching you.

  • Ice ? Dumbass he's from uk it's to wet

  • ice;)

  • for the record they should check out asv levers the ones that are super hard to break or bend they are like double hinged pretty cool levers little pricey but still worth not having to replace levers at every slide or drop

  • You ok Sven, hows the bike? Stay safe mate.

  • @anzac2404 why wouldn't i be ok?

  • @svengalie

It was a pretty nasty crash Sven, I'd take care on that bike now

  • @svengalie: Just saying stay safe mate, you've had more than your fair share of busters; I watched some vids of those who saw the vid where you broke your leg, that put me off...don't want to watch it either; nearly lost my 3 brother's to motorbike accidents...thats why I ask. Cheers.

  • @svengalie cuz you jus crashed duh. shoulda jus jumped back on that shit. i think god was trying to tell you something.

  • @vulgarcowpower Two things. 1) Engage with reality. 2) Read the description.

  • @svengalie right on

  • @anzac2404 way to read the description genius.

  • the same thing happened to me about a week ago :'(

    i fcking hate ice!

  • Gotta hate ice. Ride safe.

  • i love it when u said i'll see you later. +1 says never see him again lol

  • Is the bike a cb125f?

  • @eamh2002

    Honda cg 125

  • Bald tire?

  • @szalyga ice?

  • Comment removed

  • @svengalie Maybe.

  • @svengalie road?

  • @svengalie dont ride on ice then dipshit

  • @szalyga Bad tire?! Are you blind? :D

  • @S4MM43L You're clairvoyant to be able to see the grooves of the tire? ¬ ¬

  • That's insane... Any possible way to correct something like that? Just happened so fast without any warning...

  • @DontVlogandDrive when your front wheel goes sideways on ice/diesel/wet road I don't see much way of recovering - personally, but I'm no expert.

  • @svengalie best way to correct this type of thing is...DON'T RIDE WHEN THERE IS ICE ON THE ROAD (silly rabbit) - I ride all year round, through the winter months, but when there is a chance of surface ice, I leave my two wheeled BMW in the barn. this is the risk one takes venturing out on a colder day, good on your mate for a safe crash tho sven ;)

  • @svengalie I completley agree, when the front wheel goes there is no way to recover from it, from my person experience your on your ass before you can do anything

  • @svengalie i guess its pour luck

  • @svengalie Onl'y possible way I could see to correct that would be lock the back wheel, turn it sideways and put your right foot down, kinda like they take corners in Motocross,i've seen this done once before, but it isn't your everyday rider that can pull it off quick enough to correct this.

I saw the training kick in there, let go of the bike and keep your arms in!

  • @svengalie i've done something similar, and i've herd this happening a lot now, but the kids in their 1cc scooters are putting oil or something on the road to do burnouts, which they did near me and they did it at a corner, so bye bye ducati 848 for the now D: still, my other car is a ford capri, which makes it more fun to run them over >:)

  • @DontVlogandDrive

No chance. On ice an diesel, it just goes and you have no reaction time.

In weather like this, I am always looking for puddles to see if they are frozen over to give me an idea whether the road is likely to have black ice.

Glad you were able to walk away with nothing more than a large dent in your wallet.

  • @DontVlogandDrive really if it goes and its not too late the only thing you can do is ride out straight and hope you have room to do so....any turning of the bars or leaning will have you off,as for this guy in the video he had no chance it was too quick before he could react,if its that cold and the roads'look' wet its a good chance its ice mixed in with the wet surface so ride as if it is....oh yes by the way i am qualified to talk about this as i am a motorcycle instructor

  • Biking below 40F is always a roll of the dice. Chances are if it's shiny it's slippery.

  • and this is why you invest in good gear, the number of times i see muppets wearing jeans and tracksuit bottoms on bikes is just scary.

  • A similar thing happened to a guy on advrider.com while riding his multistrada. I can see from both this video and the multistrada, the ice formed on a section of the road mostly blocked from the sun. In this case it was shrubbery and a small mound, for the ducati there was a large hill casting a large shadow. Just be careful and watch out for dimly lit areas on cold days and you're g2g.

  • I bet he kept his helmet on, as his face was bright red :D

  • Is it me or do some Youtuber's just out for a argument? there is plenty more in life you can do BTW...Just thought I would let you moany people know. :)

  • @corps3y you mean "out for AN argument"? - retard.

    (dyswidt? ;-)

  • @svengalie Mate I was on your side! lol, I was meaning about Youtuber's who comment on video's and starting AN argument for no reason the Pathetic people! ;)

  • @corps3y I know! I was being ironically pedantic, hence the ;-) :-)

  • @svengalie Lol oki :)

  • Glad to hear he's alright. Was a very clean crash. But shame about the bike :(

  • did the bike live?

  • What?! lol I think not mate...

  • That was pretty hard core bro!

  • you have taken a fair few falls man ;)

  • Someone should develop a road surface that changes colour with the temperature!

  • i love how you just get up and take your gloves off with no pain. You are definately related to chuck norris.

  • Looks to me like he crashed on purpose. He even crashed the same way on purpose in a previous video. This video is lame.

  • @Vastballistics why the fuck would you want to crash on purpose

  • @Vastballistics I'd read the description before you make yourself look like a retard. Anyone who thinks someone would crash a road bike at 40mph is stupid.

  • @Vastballistics Have you ever ridden a bike? I would say no, the reason it looks the same is because the reason for the crash is the same, ice

  • amateur

  • FOKTUP NATURE SOMETIMES ... BETA ONLY THE BIKE IS DAMAGE..

    GREATZ

  • totally just catches you! I have done this on a non motor bike, and the same shit happens, front tire goes straight, rear tire goes where ever the fuck it wants, rider goes....down

  • This is a good example of black ice catching riders out & also the value of wearing leathers & not jeans or shorts! I have owned bikes but only trial bikes for off-road use. I think it also makes me glad I stick to four wheels rather than two! I hope the damage isn't too bad on the bike or to the pride.

  • Sven. Is it me that you and your friends are just loons for riding on ice?!

  • That is one thing I've learned my lesson on.. never ride on icy roads.

  • @wasssuppp08 check out this clip - watch?v=6FfMqPHMGjY tires made are Kenda K761 with 216 studs per tyre...

  • another one of those "oops... dang it" moments

  • yeah thumbs waaaaaaaaaay up 4 any bike crash u get up and walk away from.. \|||/

  • That was great. You know he was hurting that night too.

  • hope the bikes ok.

  • now why the fuck would you ride a bike on a cold day?

  • @Nismoleb89

to er ... get to work ?

  • @Nismoleb89 probably for the same reasons as you would ride on a warm day

  • To get somewhere - duh!

  • Nothing wrong why did he slip away?

  • @lioncitypmh ice

  • @Nismoleb89 cause not everyone is a faggot like u to ride only when sun is out

  • I've fallen twice. each time I was relieved, but super pissed afterwards. Like, "I can't believe that shit just happened!"

  • i did this recently, but it hurt alot more :P

  • And this is why I put my bike away for winter and use a car!

Alot of people who ride all year tell me I am not a "real" biker, despite the fact that for 2 years I only had a bike and rode every day in all weather.

It wasn't until I got a car that I realised what a cock I had been.

I even had two bikes, one for crap weather and one for nice weather. I sold the commuter and now have my beautiful orange beast there in all it's glory on a sunny day, thanks.

Off topic, CG125 FOR THE WIN!1111

  • @jamiebridges123 your right mate bikes are no fun in ICE

  • I like the nice crack sound as his helmet meets the deck.

  • @DarkThoughtsWithin ugh dude its impossible 2 get that sound out ur head after..goes thru ur whole body!! \|||/

  • I'm glad to see your all ok though. I being a motorbike rider myself have had the exp in falling off twice on ice. Also i have the exp of a car hitting the tail end of my bike.

  • No way of seeing??? Road looked like a damn ice skating rink to me! LOL! Glad (is that mad stu?) he is ok.

  • Comment removed

  • Good sliding, thats the way to come off, go with the flow, dont fight it... until a tree starts coming towards you then maybe its time to fight

  • Only one more thing, when you walked away you forgot your gloves man. :P:P

  • Can you guyz imagine if the guy wasn't wearing full protection? I mean, jacket with protection, gloves, pants, boots and a good helmet? It is because of that, even riding 125 cc bike, it is necessary to use a full equipment.

  • as often as you crash you shoud get sliders lol...

  • That was a pretty big off, glad he was unharmed (apart from the ego maybe) lol. Sven ur channel is beginning to turn into a crash channel! ;)

  • fucki** ice, i have got the same, ride and after couple sec i`m on my ass and bike tooo ... :/

  • Rider waving the car by, "No no nothing to see here move along. I don't need anyone watching helping me feel more embarrassed." -------> Run home post to YouTube.

  • @halfthrottle LMAO

  • @halfthrottle in austria cars why pass by without even taking care about anyone... thats embarresing !

  • @halfthrottle No he was saying that he was okay, you can hear some of the conversation

  • OOF, glad all ended well. I'm afraid I use the car if there's any chance of the slidy stuff.

  • Same thing happened to me on Sunday morning.

Luckily on an off road bike and at a much slower pace ... but the roads were lethal and just couldnt see the ice.

  • @wasssuppp08 you can buy studs, either a pre studden tyre or fit them yourself, you screw them in like screws

  • Glad he was ok!! As a road legal quad bike user , this is one of the main reasons why all road quadders should wear at least a skid lid too, just like motorcyclists. The ones who don't are idiots.

  • @wulfmaer for the 6 months i had a quad I often didn't, it's quite liberating.

  • watching a cg125 slide down the road is a familiar sight of my youth.haha
