I really don't like the term "new wave of thrash metal", because it makes it sound like thrash was dead in some point, which it wasn't.

Metal is a family, no matter where or what. I was in calss one morning, it was 7:45 am, i had my Saxon shirt on. The teach walks in and says "Love the shirt by the way." Later, i asked What's yer favourite Exodus album, and in the middle of class, he turned on the projector with Exodus' Fabolus Disaster, and said "That's my favourite Exodus album." Rest of the kids said "Wha-" the scene and emos just looked astonished. THRASH TILL DETH AND METAL UP YOUR ASS!!!

@metalkind1user why the fuck does everybody say that? ok i'll admit that the old school thrash bands like megadeth, anthrax, kreator, sodom, dark angel, nuclear assault etc are better than the new thrash bands but wtf. you should be happy and appreciative that these bands are trying to bring back the thrash spirit. plus, some of the old school bands are still putting out great shit. hordes of chaos, devolution, endgame and others.

@chiaromontestephen I totally agree man, if you lot are all picky about what is "real thrash" and what isn't, then thrash really will die out. Do you think if new thrash bands like Municipal Waste and Warbringer and Evile were around back then that these guys in the documentary would have said "they aren't real thrash"? no they wouldnt, they would have just said, "rock on, more thrash!" like you should! go and see thrash bands in your local area, form your own, do whatever keep the thrash alive!

I wish the music scene didn't change from what it was back then.
