The best gift parents can ever give their kids is LOVE BETWEEN THE PARENTS, because they serve as a model of what love is. If they can't give their children such a gift by working together (like marriage counseling) to resolve issues, then it is better to have a divorce. I'm not speaking from "psychology theories," but rather from growing up under parents' empty marriage. It's better to be healthy alone (set an example for kids) then to be sick together in a dead or empty marriage.
Some people think they must stay in a marriage because of their children. But most parents don't even see things through kids' eyes. Kids are very observant and they can see & feel the cold wars or tension between parents. Most of all, kids KNOW it's an empty marriage, even if the parents never fight in front of the kids. In that case, parents' empty marriage serves as an example of what marriage/relationship is like. Then kids grow up into fearing what their future marriage will be like..
Marriage is no fairy tale. It requires hard work from both sides. But before divorce, couples should try EVERY possible solution.
