  • Beautiful!!! These are not Occu-balls. These footballs are made by skilled, honest, hard-working Americans!

  • Great video.

  • My favorite football maker is Wilson now. I love how their balls are made in the USA! My current Rawlings ball is made in Thailand and it is shitty. But, who am I to rate footballs because I play rugby, and the best ball maker for rugby balls is Gilbert. GO WILSON! GO GILBERT! GO AMERICAN FOOTBALL! GO RUGBY! GO USA!!!!

  • BULLSHIT! I saw this video a while back and really wanted one..and my sister said she would get it for me my 64th birthday..i told her it had to be Wilson..i told her it had to say NFL..i told her it had to say official size...and thats what she bought me.looking at it..i see a tiny barcode that has been pressed into the leather with tiny writing..i get my magnifing glass out...'MADE IN CHINA'...this is wrong after expecting a ball made by Wilson..made in the USA

  • @sfchild

    a replica maybe?

  • @strongyang

it is a Wilson NFL Official football...licensed by Wilson to make a cheaper ball in China..i found out if you don't pay at least $80.00..its made in China..don't get me wrong..it's a nice ball...but the tiny print under the valve that says made in China..should be bigger and somewhere more obvious on the packaging..it's misleading the way it is..

  • @sfchild i know dude i got the team collectibales one (i wanted a packers one but all they had was dallas cowboys) and inprinted (quite big to ne honest) MADE IN CHINA total bullshit

  • How can anyone dislike this video. That just shows you that the internet is filled with people that just get off on hating.

  • very

  • good job wilson

  • IM SORRY WILSON! WILSON IM SORRY!

  • I wanna work in the wilson factory. Most likely it wont haopen though

  • we;ve been throwing around a wilson NFL street football the past few weeks, and it says "Made in China" on it...guess only certain wilson balls are made in the USA :(

  • @usc23cal9 The 80 dollar official wilsons are made in the USA

  • @usc23cal9 All "leather" footballs are made there. The ones that you see that are made in China, etc, are like $20 composite leather footballs... common ones that you buy in stores that you see kids using in the street.

  • Everyone in the video has been with the company for 30-40 years. That shows the amount of integrity and dedication the employees have in their work. That's why Wilson is the Official Game Ball of the NFL.

  • I have a punctured football and i wanna fix it, does some1 know how to open it and lace it up again?

  • Does anyone know big a youth sized football is??? please respond

  • Here we Have John he's been doing this job for 65 years ?

  • After 35 years Emmett ought to have arms like Popeye. I bet he has a hell of a grip!

  • The last statement is not true. The first 4 Super Bowls were AFL vs. NFL. The AFL used a Spalding J5V football and the AFL teams did score in the first 4 Super Bowls. The won SB III & IV

  • WILLLSOOOON, WILLLSOOOOOON, I'M SORRY WILSON, WILSON COME BAAAACK"

  • dang, check out emmetts guns.

  • I like Wilson's balls

  • Glad some things are still made in America.

  • good ol' wilson football, nikes ball suck GO WILSON

  • I feel like I want to go buy a Wilson football.

  • @carrieschneiderhan : I feel the same way, and I have never played football! What a wonderful video...

  • Very cool , I am glad to see that we are still keeping jobs in North America. Makes you wanna go out and get a Wilson ball.

  • that guy was fuckin ripped

  • All white folks!!! I am surprised the diversity police haven't raided them. Jesse and Al will not like this.

  • the four that disliked this video must be from Spalding, Rawlings, Baden, and Nike.

  • football would help you grow taller ?

  • Why aren't the chinks making these? I'm sure they can do it cheaper...but they would probably try to use dog skins instead of cow hide. They'd also use lead foil and give their employees poisoned milk.

OK, maybe it's better that the U.S. has at least ONE product that's made in America.

  • Wow...some of those particular jobs look mind numbingly BORING!!! and repetitive....I hope they pay them well enough...

  • @robb1138 They must do alright... the shortest term for employment, out of the people they showed, was 20 years.

  • Made in the USA. Lets hope this plant continues to be in the USA employing local people. We need more factories in the US. Lets change incentives and mindsets of corporate America so they will put more of their manufacturing plants in the US.

  • Cool to see something still made in this country. Cool video.

  • Egads! Those employees, doing those same tasks day after day, month after month, year after year, for twenty or thirty or more years! Those people look like machine parts themselves, don't they? I hope their work lives aren't as monotonous and mechanical as this video makes it look like. I don't know how they can stand it.

  • No sweatshops here, suck it Nike!

  • Very interesting seeing how footballs are made.

Now, please create a video showing how football bats are made.

    Thank you.

  • Worth the 5 minute watch.

  • Worth the 5 minute watch/

  • "This is so and so she's been doing this for fourty years"

"Wait, I've been doing this for FOURTY FUCKING YEARS?"

    "Um, yes?"

    *BOOM HEADSHOT*

  • Gheesh - You might think with the footballs made in OHIO that the Cleveland Browns would have figured out out to use them by now ... LOL

  • @velcroking1 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I laughed my ass off at that one.

  • Very nice to see the commitment of Wilson and its employees make these right here in good old USA.

  • @LampHeadz One problem.... USA isn´t that old...

  • uh oh....the all so-serious people are here....bringing up taxes etc on a football video. avoid at all costs, theyre easy to spot too ----------> over there, where there's no women around.

  • AMERICAN BALLS, MADE IN THE USA BY AMERICAN HANDS!

Good job, Wilson! I love the fact that all of the employees have been doing it for decades.

  • @jgrossma Yeah, but Wilson is owned by a Finnish company..

  • Love it! Americans will pay millions to a man to run up and down a field with a football yet they are only willing to pay just over the poverty level those who are responsible for the care, nurturing and educating their children.

  • @deepcow oh for god's sakes STFU. lol jesus stop being so SERIOUS about everything. i bet ur a ray of sunshine at a party...

  • This is American Approved.

  • Holy shit! Are you saying that we still make something in this country? Amazing.

  • that repition type of work sure does suck ass

  • 33 years x 1200 stamps = aprox. 40k times the same shit over and over! i appreciate these guys optimistic look at life.

  • @shrum333 actually over 10million after 33 yrs. 1200/day x 260workdays/yr x 33 yrs = 10,296,000 !

  • Wish we could get all our factories back! WE need jobs here...!

As like my name 'buyamericana!" Yes AMERICAN MADE products once again. Bravo WILSON!

  • man people that work there have crappy promotion opportunities

  • she has been here 40 years because we wanted to make sure she couldn't retire!

  • Too bad it's just another old American company sold out to the Japanese..........

  • I love how each person they go to, they say, this is Greg and he has been here for 4000000000 years

  • Anyone know where I can buy one of these original official NFL leather wilson football?

  • Boy, this is great video; I love it.

Thanks Wilson for keeping this place still running strong !

I don't play football, but love to watch it. I wish I can play it. I will go out to buy one, after watching this video for souvenir...original hand-made in the USA with real leather !!! NOT a Chinese/Vietmese made.

  • Look at the muscles on that older gentleman flipping the balls inside out. I'll bet anyone today this guy can outwork a young man. It takes commitment and his arms show it. I salute you, sir!

  • Yea it used to be pig skin but heaven forbid we upset a muslim! Used to be pigskin as far as I know!

  • very interesting, and I like how the man 'hosting' this video showed respect for the workers by knowing their names and how long they have worked at Wilson.

  • The guy that turns the balls inside out should be getting a heck of a lot more $ than whatever they are paying him. I'll bet I'd last about 5 min in that job! It is great that this factory hasn't moved offshore - a kudo to Wilson for this, at least!

  • @judylgalloway Yup he should be making at least double compared to what the others are doing.

  • This is great stuff. I want to go buy a football and have the employees of that plant sign it. Forget the NFL players I want their autograph!

  • @prokopto Word!!

  • Tina, the lacer, is the newbie at only 20 years on the job.

    Wow.

  • If Wilson can manufacture in this country why can't other businesses put Americans to work as well!

  • @jkahwaty The unions that's why.

  • @prokopto They are Union. Google it!

  • They are Union workers at Wilson...

  • @jkahwaty Because the greedy bosses want every possible penny out of their products & they don't give a fuck about ANY WORKERS.

U can thank Billy Blow Job Clinton for NAFTA. Then REAGAN for the push against UNIONS- Air Traffic Controller ring a bell? And all the greedy corporations that send jobs overseas-Bill Gates-THANKS SCUMBAG. cAN U EVEN understand a computer tech on the phone? NO all from India

  • @ed11561

    Ed, take a chill pill.

  • @IronMikeHouston fuck off asshole.

  • @ed11561

Well thank you. I actually have a wife that I can make love to and I bet with your attitude you have NOTHING!

You remind of the idiot that shot the congressional woman today. Get a life!

  • @IronMikeHouston like i said-fuck off asshole. No one cares who the fuck you are.

What's your wife's name asshole? MICHAEL? lol fucking loser.

congresswoman? What are u a fucking moron? Congresswoman? LOL ASSHOLE. no correlation dummy.

  • @ed11561

No one cares that you are an ASSHOLE and probably can't get friend. You probably have to tie a bone around your neck to get a dog to play with you (with that type of attitude).

You are a LOSER and an idiot!

  • @IronMikeHouston probably can't get friend.??? IS THAT LIKE GETTING HEAD? CAN'T GET FRIEND? OR ARE YOU SUCH A FUCKING IDIOT THAT YOU CAN'T WRITE ENGLISH CORRECTLY ASSHOLE? LOL

Fucking moron. GOT FRIEND? LOL asshole fuck off already LOSER.

  • @ed11561

You are a LOSER and probably have to wear a bone around your neck to get a dog to like you! I bet you don't even have a job that pays more than $10/hour!

  • i thought this was supposed to be about wilson making footballs, not your garbage talk about taxes and bullshit. if i want to read about that, ill go to cnn. this is youtube. shut the fuck up!

  • Yes the unions are part of the problem. NAFTA also. Democrats taxing us until we run out of money is the largest problem the people in this country have.

  • @rmartin7799 Are you kidding? Americans pay some of the lowest taxes in the industrialized world. If you make less than $250K, the Democrats actually LOWERED your taxes over the last 2 years. Without taxes, no roads, no bridges, no schools, no airports, no police, no fire departments, and on and on. How about we cut military funding and end the 2 costly and stupid wars we are in if you want to save tax dollars, rather than blame workers who deserve a living wage.

  • Wow! an American factory employing Americans, making an American product. If we can abolish unions, this might catch on.

  • @wyattnoahliko The problem of job loss has nothing to do with unions and everything to do with tax policies and trade agreements like NAFTA, which encourage the off-shoring of jobs to countries where workers don't make enough to afford one meal a day in America, let alone clothing and housing. Wilson should be applauded for putting their workers ahead of the urge for massive profits.

Why is the American middle class disappearing? Look in the mirror.

  • @nrf91 You are correct, in part, but when you say "the problem of job loss has nothing to do with unions", I have to ask, what union are you a member of?

  • @wyattnoahliko None. I haven't been part of a union since I had a part time job at a department store in college. Back then I thought unions were dumb. Now I understand that unions help to raise the wages and benefits of ALL working people and not just union members. Without unions, workers have no means of collectively bargaining for better wages and benefits. Corporations face less pressure to compete on wages and we all become wage slaves. I see unions as a necessary evil.

  • @nrf91 Now you are absolutely wrong. Unions are, and have been for a long time, sucking every dime and benifit from their employers that they can possibly get without regard for the well being of the companies that provide the very jobs they need. There once was a genuine need for unions, now they are like parasites devouring the host until nothing is left.. The auto industry is one huge example, also the California teachers unions, public employee unions and many more.

  • @wyattnoahliko Thanks so much for the Fox News approved right wing talking points. Never mind the real parasites, which are Wall Street and its pressure on corporations to grow profits every quarter even if that means at the expense of employee wages, benefits and even jobs. Never mind that executive pay has skyrocketed while worker pay has stagnated over the last 30 years. You just keep on blaming the workers. That's exactly what the GOP-DEM corporatists want.

  • @nrf91 You should get yourself to Cuba and seek assylum from the USA...You'd fit in well there.

  • @wyattnoahliko Actually, I fit in fine here. It's you free market tea bagging fascists who belong somewhere else - Somalia seems like the right place. Let me know if you need help with a ticket (one way, of course).

  • @wyattnoahliko Some unions are good. But, then again, there are some really really bad ones like the Teacher's Union that keep bad teachers from getting fired. But, I agree with you on everything here. Long live Capitalism! Proudly made in the USA!

  • Lets go play some cowskin

  • Wow & I thought all we were making anymore were the little umbrellas in the fancy drinks, ice cubes and welfare checks!

  • Terrific! Way to keep our jobs here in America, with Americans doing the jobs!!!

  • Great Video! Please, please stop the background music so we can hear your words.

  • Deb, Loretta, Peg, Glen, Emit, Tina, Anna May, Pam and Michelle??

Wow! I can't believe their names aren't Maria, Juana, Rosa, Jose, Carlos, Juan, Miguel, Hector, and Juanita!

    Bravo!

  • Wow! I would love to know "why" those employees have stayed there so long...that's unheard of today. What is their motivation/inspiration for staying there year after year.

If someone from Wilson could give some insight into that I would appreciate it.

    Thanks!

  • Thank you for continuing to manufacture here in the states and not outsource the jobs!!!

  • damn....I was gonna apply for a job there but it seems as though one must pass away before any spots open up

  • Thank you Wilson corp for proving that some companies still care about their people. And Emitt is a beast!

  • This was sent to me as an email. Went to You Tube to see again. Extremely interesting. Now I know how they are made finally. Thanks "Wilson" for making a GREAT American product.

  • Gone Emmit git' yo 15 bro...dat''s right give Emitt his 15 minutes of fame.......dude work hard...fine too...I saw that smile...

  • AMERICAN INDUSTRY AT ITS BEST! SUPPORT AMERICAN WORKERS!

  • @Kool...They've been working there over 30 years. Does that sound like they're not happy? The manufacturing process is fascinating. It's a wonder things don't cost more than they do. We're so fickle...if it costs too much, we won't buy it, so they send to China for manufacturing.

  • Those employees should organize a strike and demand more money. Without employees - the company does not make money.

  • Emmett trained me to turn footballs! Haha, what they don't tell you is that everybody in that video (except old Glen) gets paid piece-rate, so we don't have this holy devotion to quality like they pretend, we whip them out as fast as we can, so that we can make the biggest checks we can. The inspectors sort out the rest. @Jsavolainen we only make leather balls in Ada. Yours is beneath us.

  • Mine says MADE IN CHINA.

  • @Jsavolainen

Thats a 20 dollar Chinese ball. The game authentics made in USA are like 60-70. you pay for the labor and much higher quality materials. You get what you pay for. Nothing beats the real leather feel though.

  • @Jsavolainen lol mine too guess we bought the cheaper ones mine was 15 dollars

  • '' THE DUKE''.

  • my ball is about 11 years old now.

  • I WANT ONE!!!!

  • they make nice balls

  • @1995a1995z they do mine are so soft like my hands

  • Bakerskater you can buy the authentic super bowl game day balls, and nfl game day on amazon for about $80, and you can also find them on google. But look for the super bowl game day balls to be about $130 each.
