  • i think ur a good trainer i was bullied for 3 weeks and realy bad in y6 so when we was doing pe he hit me and i dodged and did rko alll i wont to say THANKS!!!!

  • Bryan Danielson used this basic move to incredible effect at ROH Survival of the Fittest 2004 and also at ROH Testing The Limit 2004, both times against Austin Aries. Danielson is credited for being one of the few people to directly use the standard Body Slam as a build-up to a match finish rather than to just place an opponent temporarily on his back.

  • LOL, looking sloppy, it made me laugh..

  • Thanks now I can perform this on my girlfriend

  • Thats actually a scoop slam

  • Alissa Flash Aka CheerLeader Melissa makes bodyslams look painful

  • does it hurt?

  • how about the Tombstone?

  • dont you tuck in there head when you drop them..

where are you guys from btw..

  • Can you do Military Press Drop?

  • You should actually be re-positioning your hand to cup the back of his neck so the last part of his body your holding when you slam him will be his neck. Which is much more safe and much more protective. But other than that I think it's great what you all are doing on youtube. I'm sure it will help backyard wrestlers and ametures to do the moves right instead of hurting themselves.

  • HI plz read this can u make a video of a Scoop Powerslam u know the '' Orton powerslam.

  • First body slam was very sloppy

  • the guy taking the move didnt even switch the post to the other leg.

  • does it hurt wen u get slammed or do u know how to land

  • fail?

  • could use do a scoop slam?

  • @kanefan4eva12 Read what he said in User Comments. They're the same thing.

  • are u english?

  • thats perfect :)

  • Your doing it WRONG. Your arm is suppose to go around his neck. Oh my god.

  • its better when you hook his neck it looks better and you got more control

  • you forgot to hook his neck

  • I think its called Scoop Slam

  • @Shifthead1 its the same thing ;)

  • powerslam is when you body falls also down on his body?

  • I was taught that once the person being slammed is pivoted up, to shift my hand position higher so to help support their lift.

  • I thought you were suppose to scoop and bring their head in

  • so the guy taking the body slam needs to post better and needs to bump better

  • You should do the Black Hole Slam as that is one ace looking move. Me and my bro did it but it wasn't that good.

  • why dont u get it right and call it by the right term a scoop slam

  • well... Tyson Kidd does that and its a Finisher move but the guy with u just stood up quickly HOW? is that fake? i thought its sctripted if not please tell me

  • @QatarnehChannel this happens to my friends and me. Sometimes the impact is so hard it forces you to stand up. It kinda surprises your nervous system you got me?

  • in most wrestling games, it's called the Scoop Slam

  • you can remove my comments it don't mean you know what your talking about and it still is sloppy wrestling were people get hurt

  • isn't the move shown in the video a scoop slam?

body slam is almost same but you fall on him when you throw him down.

  • how far do you drop him, from the knee?

  • nice but doesent that hert?

  • looks like there dancing lol

  • i love your videos

  • it's easy

  • I love your instructions but my friends we do some wrestling and I just lift them with some momentum and my strength they dont know how to do this stuff right, and dont get me wrong he is decently heavy and I slam him easy but he gets hurt in a minimum amount but I want him to stop getting hurt. I will use your knowledge wisely, oh and the way i do a body slam I do everything like you except I put my arm on there left shoulder do give more momentum. Thanks for the videos.

  • this is move kinda nasty cause you got your hand touching his butt cheeck thats why there other ones like the one that has the same thing but your hand touches the hip making him twist a little and then hes on your shoulder and instead of you just dropping him you fall down with him

  • I was also told right before dropping them tuck the head. I'm midwest by Lake Michigan and I've notice people are taught a little different but not enough to wok one another. Nice work bro

  • I like learning how other people were trained cause you can see its all the same just small differences. I was taught many moons ago left hands goes on there shoulder so support is even more distributed. Was once even told by an old times your other hand dosen't go on there thigh but gut(never felt right to me.)

  • The guy doing the slam should be tucking his opponents head just before he drops him. Otherwise, very good video.

  • not bad but i like when the body slam is done with you hand on the other side of his head and his legs are more striaght and up so u put your legs as high as you can

  • show us the snow plow

  • May I ask I seen other been slammed in the ring and it makes like a louder noise than this. I hear like metal being hit with a stick. While I hear wood being hit on this lol.

  • You hear different noises because rings are made differently. The louder noises usually come from rings which have loose planks of wood on top of the metal framework, so when someone gets slammed the planks hit against the framework, making a loud noise.

  • awsome vids 5 * lol i like how alot of people are trying to say this isnt a Body slam!!!

  • I like to candle the persons head to make sure they get over as well

  • you guys rock

  • isn't this an inverted vertical suplex?

  • Isnt the point of doing a Body Slam to injure the person. So if were not actors dont do it.

  • Well in pro wrestling, the point of doing a bodyslam is to entertain the crowd, and make it appear as though you're trying to injure your opponent. Pro wrestling is the illusion of an intense battle between the competitors, for the entertainment of the crowd. If you purposely bodyslam someone on the ground or floor of a building or out a window, you will surely hurt them. Then your point would be injuring someone.

  • @HowToWrestle Wow, way to kill Kayfabe.

  • @HowToWrestle U are wrong my friend and i are used to do wrestling just for fun on a trampoline i made a cool body slam(thanks for ths video it learned me how to do that) and i didnt hurt him or something we just doing it for lulz :)

  • @TheThingThingKing it does hurt its nice to do when you come in a fight:D

  • That is a scoop slam. bodyslam is something like world strongest slam

  • Just go to the Wikipedia page for "Proofessional Wrestling Thows." The term Body Slam and Scoop Slam are the same thing. So yes it is a Scoop Slam, but it is also a regular Body Slam.

  • sorry i didnt know

  • @HowToWrestle wiki has been known to be wrong before, in this case you and i both know it is correct a scoop slam and a body slam are the same thing, but just a heads up with wiki it can and has been wrong before, but you and a true wrestling buff like me know the truth when it doesnt :)

  • @HowToWrestle Hey make a running powerslam

  • @zvonenaruto acually the body slam is the scoop slam i also thought that too untill i asked a trainer but there no differnce its the same move
