He plays it too safe...he's afraid to take chances cuz he doesn't want to risk making a mistake...that in itself is a huge mistake...Jake would go in there with nothing to lose and everything to gain...jake will go to brawl and won't hold anything back...he'll capitalize on any mistake GSP makes and since GSP will be playing it safe and/or underestimate jake...there's no way Jake can lose...

@Yoli810 Sure GSP hasn't been able to finish his fights, but the level of opposition is clear above Shields has had other than Hendo (who's 40 now lol) GSP could lay & pray on Jake for 5 rounds again that's a given but he definitely has the better stand-up too.

Daley, Lawler etc great fighters but not the level of Fitch, Alves etc. Dan Hardy had massive heart, so undermines GSP a bit, but he always had that win.

Shields needs to worry about a Koscheck or Rumble 1st

@adamrst Well obviously he won't fight GSP his first fight in the UFC...I think they meant between GSP and Silva...and the fact is...GSP can't finish his fights anymore...the people he's beat vs the people Jake beat is irrelevant...Jake finishes fights and has nothing to lose and doesn't hold back...I don't see him losing...especially since by the time he gets GSP he will be more than ready

I know he'll walk most of the WW division, but when that loss comes it'll be to a Koscheck, Fitch, Alves or obviously GSP... which is fair enough, they're top of the pile, just shows the gulf between fighting an old legend like Hendo and hungry ready contenders.

Hardy only got shot at WW because they weren't going to make repetitive fights for GSP... IMO Koscheck, Alves or Fitch are capable of beating Shields let alone GSP.

Daley vs. Koscheck need I say more, Condit gets Hardy next (ranked outer top 10 like you say), Lawler just lost to Sobral!! Alves would take them both!
