.357 is not enough for a big hog. .44 would be ok, for a handgun. I don't know why people hunt these things with fuckin' bows, and small caliber rifles. You need a 30:06 with 180 grains to stop those fuckers. Don't fool around with anything smaller.

I used to carry a .44 mag for close range pigs. I'm going to get a .500 magnum next. If one of those pigs gets you on the ground and starts mauling, it's no joke! It's a good idea to carry a very large fixed blade knife where you reach it quickly.
