It's an Eljer. Note the bowl jet that directs water flow; which was in production in the 1950's and was phased out in 1961.

I really don't see how that bowl jet helps the flush. By the way my uncle had these in his house, and they were the same color.

Yes, that is an Eljer. I have one just like it, but in white. That is 1950's vintage; mine was made in 1952
