  • I am in Ga also and I have a 10 year old son with Autism. I never have a problem with teachers or principal. DO NOT take him back if you can help it. I can only imagine how they are treating him. Call some lawyers. Someone will take this case pro bono I bet. My son does not deal with changes well either, but your child most likely is being mistreated. I am in Paulding county where there are not as many blak children either. Continue to advocate for your son. Best of luck.

  • @mskittie7411 I will thanks!

  • I hope you sorted that unprofessional cow out!

  • @youreadyhoney Yeah!!! now in the morning when I drop him off she leaves the room before teacher assistants open the door.

  • If u do keep him there, find a way to nanny cam his bag,I guarantee its worst when ur gone.

  • I work in this field,Please take him out, look in2 a retired or student private care for now,

  • If a teacher treated me like that,I would Not have left my child! She could be taking her frustration out on him,get a babysiter at home if u have 2!

  • SUE!! Keep us updated!

  • My God I can’t believe that this women is allow to be teaching with that attitude & slamming the door in your face, if that door had touch you that would be assault & the police would have to be involve… sometime these people treat you in a sir ton way because they wont you to react so they can call the police. Am going over to watch the next video. It was good that you did not lower yourself to her standard…

  • he was feeding himself...i was happy to see that...you should sue the school...to prevent this lady to continue to do what she does...you will be doing a good thing for even other parents that feel the same or have experience the same

  • I think we live in the same county. I am so through with this county it's no joke. My youngest had a 2nd grade teacher @ Oak Hill who crushed her spirit and I had to go to the board after I had heard several other parents tell me about what this teacher was telling their kids. She and I had such a volatile relationship that I had to have my daughter moved from her class. I have several friends who are teachers in this county and the stories are amazing to me. I don't know how it continues.

  • Yu had more than enough patience with tht woman...but it's for the sake of the child.....ppl like tht sicken me

  • I live in southern GA, so I know where you coming from. (ooohhh if we were ghetto..).

  • How long has she been teaching .maybe she doesn't her job any more ?

  • Are you sure that this school is a good environment for your child? I know that he doesn't do with change but my concern is if this teacher is negative around the children. Her negative energy is counterproductive to his development. He needs to be in an environment where is his loved and you are being respected. Pray on it and pray for that woman. God can change her heart.

  • Sorry you have to deal with this. Sadly, it's Georgia and I know the unnecessary drama 'some folks' like to put you through "just cause..." I always had to simply pray for peace and but depending on the situation I have had to turn to Psalms 109 (yeah, it's been that crucial).

  • you have the right to have copies of his documents, you need to continue to stand for your rights, cos you sure have them! and i am a teacher, and she was being a bitch! i pray that you don't buckle down, fight this battle and win the war. You are a brilliant mother. hugs xxx

  • Sorry you have to go through this my sista, my prayers are with you and your family. Stay strong and try not to get GETTO lol

  • OMG, I wish I knew how to help you. This teacher is ridiculous and needs to be stopped. You do have rights and so does Jaiden. There is no telling how they are treating my poor lil buddy while you are away just because she doesn't like you. WOW.

  • I agree if you dnt get results id get the media involved... girl youre a supermom

  • I want to "ditto" the comment from TheIdeabaker(who sounds like someone who works in the legal field, as I have for the past 35 years). Make sure that you have dates, times and names of anyone who has witnessed any of this activity. Write your grievance letter and copy not only the principal, but all school and/or School Board Officials, you might even notify a local newspaper or TV reporter who covers such local stories.

  • Make it known that this is matter, involving your son's education is very serious and not something that you will take lying down, without fighting for your son's rights as a student and your rights as a parent, whose duty it is to protect your child from such injustice.

Our prayers, thoughts and support go with you. Remember the old adage, "if you don't fight for something, you will fall for anything." This is a battle worth fighting!!!!!

  • You are an awesome advocate for your son. Looks like he is adjusting part 2 he is eating his cereal.

  • i didnt talk to my parents like that slammin door oh no yeah she needs a work shop fast

  • Oh boy. I sure hope that this woman is not certified. I cannot imagine a licensed teacher acting this way. That district can be sued. If your baby has a 504 plan, you have access to all of his information. Hell, even if he doesn't have a plan, you still have access to all of his information. The school does not own his info. What the heck. This made me so angry. I hope this matter gets resolved soon. How unprofessional. I am sorry you even had to go through this foolishness.

  • Honestly, This teacher has very little respect for you and your son she is putting her animalistic ways first. And education scares these people. When your an educated black woman that scares so many of these teachers. Please do not leave your son with that teacher. I can only imagine other things she has done especially if you know for a fact she has drove by your home.

  • From this point use the voice recorder on your cell...it may not stand up in court but it would eliminate the her word against your word thing...and if the school board does nothing, take it to the media.

  • Sounds like that lady is in the wrong profession. You stand up for your child just like you're doing now. I agree with TheIdeabaker. You document EVERYTHING this woman does and says with regards to you and your child. Not sure if you've done so already but you may need to write to the district head about the actions that you will take if your rights are not met.

  • jah star mi glad unu are ah reform yardie, or i know it would have went dooowwwwnnnn...lol...BUT REAL TALK...you def need to put a grievance letter into the board or education and cc to all of the above...Bless you and i hope you are successful!!!

  • @SweetGaBrownin Yeah man mi get too americanized rasta lol. I'm going to do a grievance letter for sure and more.

  • Student progress must be requested in writing. Most likely those documents will be available during the IEPER meeting where you can ask as many and make as many requests as you like (verbally)

  • @blenellchaney Actually a parent can verbally request students progress. I taught high school for 10 years but I'm not asking for student's progress. I'm requesting the contents of his portfollio...this lady is writing all types of craziness in there. I am going to now request in writing to the superintendent's office...it is on tomorrow.

  • You need to go over her head and have a meeting with the superintendent and if they don't get in contact with you. I will call the paper and news reporters. I will put that school on blast. She has a real issue with you because of your color and education. She probably expected to see someone with no education.

  • @chilid856 Exactly! I am certainly heading to the school board in the morning right after I teach my class.

  • I can't believe you're having to deal with this! It sounds like overt racism to be. Northern Georgia is notorious for that. I wonder that county you're in. This is insane and that sorry excuse of a teacher needs to get out of the classroom and work at a jail or something more befitting her poor people skills.

  • @dymond06 For sure!!!!

  • Hi Vanie, I'm glad you were not ghetto with the teacher despite what the popular opinion is... Just like a couple of others mentioned, document every conversation whether face-to-face, over the phone, etc. Also, you need to make your request for your son's progress report in writing and make sure to cc all parties like, lead teacher and principal. Good Luck hun!

  • @Trumpesss Thanks hun!

  • Wow! she has some nerve slamming the door in your face. Oh HELL NO! If she does not like her job she should not be there. U could imagine what she buts your son through, when ur not around. I am so sorry sis. but your foot down and do not let her get away with it.

  • @victoria0402 I'm gonna put my foot down but I wanna put it somewhere else :). Thanks hun for the support.

  • @vanie0295 - sis I met to say..Put instead of but duh! typo LMBO! too funny, I hear u.

  • I would not trust her with my kid either. I can't believe she treated u that way. Its personal I would keep pursuing this. aww hes feeding himself yay maybe hes coming around!!

  • @tulipsun21 I will! girl you should see how happy he was when we got home. He was celebrating up a storm.

  • in that heffas face and stay in it so regular that when she looks in da mirror she don't know da difference between your face and hers - da nerve!!!

  • @maximuslyricus Girl I was planning to make more pop up visits this semester. I am gonna be on her ass like white on rice fa sure.

  • absolute remainder of the school year-more than half, I walked up into that -- U don't wanna hear what I'm calling her - 's classroom unannounced and took a front row seat for the remainder of the class on a bi - tri weekly basis! Told da heffa and the principle that I didn't trust her and that where my son goes-->I go. Heffa crosses to da otha side of the street when she sees me now and she betta!!!! So it shud come as no surprise that my unsolicited advise it to get

  • Girrrrrrrl-girl girl girl girl girl!!!! I wud have beat her a** with a slow walking stick! In other words, I wud've made making her a** walk a straight line my FULL -did I say my FULL time J-O-B!!! I've done this b4, and when it comes to my son, I will gladly do it again. My name definitely proceeds me in my sons schools. One time this teacher had the NERVE to grab my son by his arm and drag him across the room. Understand that I am NOT exaggerating when I say that for the

  • @maximuslyricus What she grabbed you son...oh that is making my blood boil. My son can't talk to tell me if this feffa is doing anything to him...I just hope the two other assistants is doing their job.

  • Her behavior is wholly unacceptable! Please continue to pursue this. Peace.

  • @lifeinterrupted Thanks I will!

  • Oh chile, been there and done that! Girl, the stories I could tell you! OMGrits!!!!! I am in Alabama! I have finally found some great people who love my child, but if they get out of line, baby you better believe I would be up there at that school. I am teacher, I know that everyone needs their job and how they are laying off teachers, but girl, if they step our of line with my child.......Let's just say they can have what's coming to them!

  • @kgagx3 I know that's right!!!

  • Your an awesome MOTHER! She probably has been like this to others but their too scared to fight for their rights. Your in inspiration alll over Vanie! I am telling you sis, Your an inspiration for fighting for whats right, having natural hair, being a wife and mother while going to school and teaching...etc etc...Thank You Beautiful;-) Stay Firm...And Strong.

  • @BeauGorgeousNatural Aww thanks hun! I will!!!

  • Im goin to be a special education teacher well a teacher of the deaf but either way this whole situation is jacked up. You handled everything really well cuz if that was me id be so vex mi a losse all my sense & ill def pray 4 you and ya son in this matter but kudos for you fighting for ya child keep ya head up :)

  • @jamrockpoeticsoul I will! Thanks and good luck on your endeavors.

  • I can't wait until you have the talk with the principal and IEP. I'll bet she will try to change her tune!! Don't let her, call her out. Prayers Vanie:-)

  • @OurLadyLourdes I know she will...we had a meeting before and she denied everything and cried as if she was doing the best by my son. That meeting accomplished nothing apart from the fact that she could write home ridiculous letters anymore. But the her attitude got worst.

  • Sorry to hear. When it comrd to children....I have zero tolerance. It isn't fair for grown ups to be acting like that. Hang in thr!

  • @edensboutique I will! thanks hun :).

  • Hang in there hun I will keep you and your transitioning in my prayers from what your telling us it seems this teacher may have a short fuse. I have seen this before it is a well I put up with your child so you get what I give you kind of attitude and she very well may feel inferior to you. Your educated and financially stable and might I say hot mama! Lol there is so many things it could be other than race. I caution you to document everything. Blessing to you and the family.

  • @ilovechocolate81 I have and have saved notes she send home last semester.

  • Definately stand up for your rights and your son's rights. How she is acting is completely unacceptable. Document..Document..Document and present. They will have to listen one way or the other. I pray for your peace in dealing with this major issue.

  • @mystart1 Thanks hun! I will.

  • Remember that you have rights as a parent. I commend your efforts on advocating on the behalf of your son. As a parent you do have rights and access to your child's records. There are some parents who would have walked away and wouldn't have taken a firm stand the way you did as they either don't know their rights or are not sure how to exercise their rights.

  • @sunshinestatemia1 Very true! I will stand up for my children, unless they are wrong in an issue. But with this....I'm gonna stand up to this witch.

  • Hi; I work with children and have for over twenty years. Good on you for being THE advocate for your child. Get a notebook or use your daily planner to document everything this woman and her people (as well as administration) are doing, exactly what you said and what they said with the date and time. If they have a pattern of refusing you your legal rights, there are many laws to protect you and your child. Keep taking deep breaths, don't lose your cool, and know that right will prevail. Hugs!

  • @TheIdeabaker I will!!! Thanks.

  • he's feeding hiself awesome!

  • @rosadavismusic yes he is...I guess he figured I was not gonna break this time.
