saw a movie w/shaw made years agoin which he was supposed to be a backwoods louisianan. Watching it in my livingroom in Algiers (a part of New Orleans) I see him row a boat through a swamp to a spanish moss covered cypress lined shore. There's a hand painted sign sticking out of the water naming the backwater place as "algiers". I mean, do they DO any research?
