  • Strange to think that this, amazing, massive structure was once an amazing piece of art. Show you the power of God who can reduce that monster to two chunks of rusty metal with a mere piece of ice.

  • @arnogerbil God had nothing to do with it since he is just a fictional character for idiots.

  • @justinkatz441 hmm, just shows your education, tell me. Do you believe in fate, or the loch ness monster, you seem to have that education level if you cannot believe in something that has a bigger chance of being real than humans growing from extra-terrestrial slime

  • @arnogerbil Education has absolutely nothing to do with believing in a 'higher power'.

  • @justinkatz441 You humor me, because the "idiots" you speak of have accomplished far more than you can imagine. Better yet you in the mostly likely case have even descended from these "idiots" who believed in a higher power.

Nations built by these "idiots", Empires, this world would never be the same if it hadn't been for this so called "fictional character".

You can see this character's influence all around you. He lives on in some men's hearts and minds. He exists, you just are to blind.

  • I bet it's still radioactive! The engine room must have been badly damaged? I noticed in the footage of Captain Smith's washroom that he didn't flush his toilet because if you look closely you can see his muck in the toilet bowl! What a dreadful night that must have been I must say!

  • Do You Think It Would Still Float ? LMAO

  • красиво

  • What are those signs in front of the telemotor control?

    Great video, thanks.

  • @mcwhite623 they are respective plaques left behind by researchers and visitors like Dr.Robert Ballard. Unfortunatly the first one ever left by Robert Ballard who found the ship in 1985, was taken by salvagers before laws took effect and RMS TITANIC INC bought the wreck.

  • @neji9987 I know your comment was ages ago. But seriously, that's a ridiculous prospect, the people died near the surface and looking at it like that most of Germany, france and western Russia is a graveyard; that people live on when you take ww1 and 2 into regard. It's highly possible someone died in your house before you moved in. See the co-existence?

  • this is a wonderful video from Rob...i wish i was there at the deck of the titanic....i wish i was him...:D

  • i wish i could visit it from the inside! thats my real wish!!!!

  • Yeah, me too. It would be cool to see lots of 1912 stuff such as money, the kitchens & More. ^________^ *****

  • i hope i can go to with my mum

  • i don't think the'll ever pick it up

if you touch it at least with your finger it will fall apart ..

  • @furiouskid100 bullshit

  • @furiouskid100 you wouldn't be able to touch it with your finger cause the water pressure would crush you before you had the chance

  • @Weslo2 lol true that :)

  • @furiouskid100 :) Still I would think it could be possible to lift at least a section of it, but I believe it would be a bigger problem getting the financial backing for what would be an extremely expensive job to do

  • @Weslo2 i agree :)

oh well im scared that ones it dissolves everyone will forget about it D:

  • @furiouskid100 hey, the heart will live on :) cheers

  • @Weslo2 :)

  • @Weslo2 this already happened a piece of titanic is on display just go to the exhibit

  • This almost made me cry):

  • it was the most saddest time of martime history, but the brighter side is it led to stringent regulations is the years to come. the safety of life at sea( SOLAS) was ammended post the accident that happened.

  • It's still so beautiful, in a sad way

  • it looks so peaceful to those who died are are resting :')

  • just lower 100 crates of viagra down there and tie them on and that will bring the titanic up

    to the surface lol

  • Just wondering, why can't we bring the ship up the bottom of the atlantic ocean, how hard is it to bring it up in two pieces?

  • @coldkeyes everything is going to just fall to pieces if they try cause the ship has been down there for so long its better to leave it than risk destroying tryingmto bring it up

  • @coldkeyes its a grave/ resting place, therefore i dont think it should be brought up...

  • its amazing how the captains bathtub is still in tact.

in another 20 or 100 years, the frame might be still intact but the rest will colapse in on itself.

the bathtub and the propellers, might be the only things left and the rest of the arteifacts

  • titanic died 1:20 am 1912 may u someday rise titanic, r.i.p and the souls lost that tragic night (cries) and may there be hope for the dead ship.

  • @blacklantern711 they cannot raise this ship, it would be impossible, its a graveyard 2 all those who died, besides the world is in a massive recession therefore the cost of such a campaign would be astronomical, anyway the vessel wouldnt be able 2 withstand the stresses of raising it, remember its underwater for nearly 100 years, and its also in 2 seperate parts so it would have 2 be 2 seperate missions, theres also a joint treaty signes by the u.s france britain and ireland banning any salvage

  • can someone tell me how the titanic's propeller bent upwards

  • i would have took a few parts off and put in the auction and fetched a few millions and do a few more rounds.....buy my own titanic.....

  • @kingtyson999 Yea so would I have lol but thing is, don't wanna risk jumpin outta that boat thingy and ending up lookin like the ship, for the next century

  • @xD3M0NPUN15H3Rx LOLLL TRU

  • @Mikijpele they did, there's one in Los Vegas. They even have the ice burg that the ship hit. They have to keep it real cold in the room so it doesn't melt, it's pretty cool.

  • I don't understand one thing. The story about this legendary ship is beautiful and sad. But can't at least some parts from the ship wreck be taken out of the ocean and put in some museum to save them, so memories would stay and people could visit?

In the contrary after some years the wreck will be gone, although I'm sure there's nothing much left by now.

  • que interesante sería poder sumergirse en el barco :) y ver las cosas reales con sus propios ojos ♥

  • its sad that people would mess with the drave site of so many people T^T

  • i wanna see some stern footage, like is the stern really as messed up as the drawn pictures make it out to be

  • Just like what everyone else is wondering...what are the notes? Are they like goodbye letters/"graves" from family members to their family members that were on the Titanic the day it sank?

  • what are the signs at 2.20 or how did they get there?

  • @MrMrliamo They are commemorative plaques left by all the expeditions that have visited the site.

  • There is a face in the left window at 4:01.

  • gives me goosebumps - so beautiful, so haunting, so tragic....

  • @cathkinghost you don't have to have aliens they could do it like they did with the 'Mary Rose'

  • I love TITANIC, i love this video, it is so beautiful, and i so want to vist her some time in my life

  • 2:14 what are those notes?

  • Gotta love the screaming face in the top right corner at 4:12

  • @xxDrain

     i don't see it :(

  • where are all the bones from the poor people?

  • @papovitch1 is this a stupid question? The salt water?????

  • @papovitch1 it's been nearly 100 years, the bones will have either sunk deeper into the seabed where the camera can't see them (keep in mind, it isn't a good enough camera to go right down into the seabed, or completely inside the wreckage), sea life could have knawed away at the bones like theyve been doing with the steel. It has been nearly 100 years, there will be very little evidence of human remains.

  • This video is a treasure for future generations who will not have the opportunity to see it after it is completely decayed.

  • This was amazing.

  • May all 1,517 souls who perished that night R.I.P.

  • i mean the song that starts at 2:10 i must know how it calls!!! >.<

  • Can you tell me how the last music calls? its so sad and beautiful! ♥

  • Its almost been 100 Years since the sinking of this Remarkable ship.

  • Things like this should be preserved and studied for all time!!!!!

  • 99years

  • 99 years tomorrow.

  • hey sarah its never ganna dissolve i think, its metal, plus it has been there for like 90 years

  • @mrrsbh chemical reactions with the iron are causing it to dissolve in the water into an orange pile of nothing, so yes, it will be gone soon.

  • hey sarah its never ganna dissolve i think, its metal

  • I've been thinking... If Titanic didn't turn left, I mean if she continued straight ahead and hit the iceberg, would she sink? I know the crash would be huge, probably it would deform it, but... Would it sink?

  • @dbonfa555 It's more likely that the titanic wouldn't sink in that situation because only the front compartment would get destroyed. But then there'd be a load of unbalanced weight in the front, and it'd start to slowly tilt. But it'd be much more likely that it would not sink in that situation. If i was the owner of the ship back then i'd carefully read the iceberg warnings that he got. Thats why the thing is on the bottom of the ocean. It wouldn't of been a big effort to him.

  • @dbonfa555 There is a book out called 882 1/2 Facts of the Titanic. One of the facts was your question. The author speculated that is would have most likely busted the bow, but the ship would not have sunk since the iceburg scraped the ship so hard the bolt came out. Had it hit face-on, that would not have happened. I highly recommend the book; a very good read

  • titanic sits at 12460 feet, at pressures of 2tons per square inch, that would crush a popcan inside out, no sub to date can reach that far, max depth for any sub other then a small dsv is 1200 feet.

however i have a design in mind for a naval DSV thats 307 meters in length :P

  • @DigitalLonestarX4600 Thats not true. In 1985 Robet D. Ballard saw the Titanic in a small sub called Alvin. Also, you actully can dive down to the Titanic. There is a diving suit called a JIM suit and basically wut it is is a really big ass suit that you can also control with dual thrusters on the back. Look it up. Im serious.

  • those suits arent rated that deep and yes you are correct except those submersibles are 2 man subs and very cramped, no navy sub is capable of reaching that depth, look up maximum crush depth on naval submarines ;)

  • i love that ship <3333it would be amazing! to get to see the Titanic <333333 :) u are sooo lucky!!!! :)

  • As times went on and we`ve learned so much about what happened and so forth I consider it a important history lesson. In the case of this ship stupidity of it`s officers is the reason it`s on the bottom. Man should learn there are three things you don`t play odds with: Land, Air and Sea. As grand as the Titanic was, it was a floating piece of junk.

  • Watching this made me cry a little bit because it reminded me that loads of people died. Sometimes i think to myself and say "Damn, that sucks" because so many helpless families died. It just sucks that this had to happen because my grandmas grandma or great grandma died on that boat.

  • it's very deep the the wreckage right?like can't swim down to see it right?

  • @Erstaunliche8Jungen right. i mean like the boat a whole lot of course it would of sunk to the very bottom. i mean you could try to swim to the very bottom, but you asre going to die. this is fact.

  • @Erstaunliche8Jungen right. i mean the ship weighed a crap load so it would of sunk like tot he very bottom. i mean you could try to swim down there, unless you wanna die w/ the rest of em.

  • 3:59 a glowing spider on the wall.

But i love this video its sutch a shame that it sunk

  • @MrGhostrider19 man look hard enough and theyre everywhere

  • 3:59 a glowing spider on the wall

  • It's something extremely dark and haunting about the ship, such deep and so rosted away and all, hard to describe, just imagine being inside those hallways now, how does the rooms look like, imagine being able to see all the details inside.

  • @Evropae emagine how it would be to take a person who had been on the titanic when it sank and could remember her room, and take the person down to the titanic now and watch the room

  • @Evropae and all the dead people

  • @vezzanator There wouldn't be bodies left after the first year in my opinion. I wonder how long the dead bodies on the surface with life vests on floated ? I wonder if any survivors trapped in the hull lived a few minutes on the ships journey down to the deep abyss until the pressure killed them?

  • They really need to take pieces of the titanic and put it in a museum or something before the ship dissolves. In about 15 years it'll probably be gone.

  • @sarahXskater 150 years perhaps

  • @sarahXskater That is a sacred place, a tomb. There are over 1500 people buried down there!

  • @sarahXskater they have done

  • @sarahXskater : Impossible to take anything now, anything we touch or bring up will detoriate. We left it to long.

  • @sarahXskater They cant salvage anymore pieces of the wreckage, theres a joint international declaration signed by france ireland britain canada and the united states preventing any more salvage expeditions, also it will take alot more than 15 years for the ship to dissolve, they reckon in 40 years there will be nothin left but a pile of rust!

  • the only thing that would be left is the bronze propellers

  • @sarahXskater they have in fact recovered a large piece of the titanic called Titanic big piece

  • @sarahXskater yeah pretty sad, the largest ship in the world til the oasis of the see came, just will be gone.

  • @sarahXskater the thing about it, if they take pieces of the ship, they would be tampering with a gravesite

  • @sarahXskater you dont dig grave

  • @sarahXskater They actually did bring up a piece and put it in a museum. They brought it to Las Vegas, Nevada and it is in the Luxor hotel. The museum is called Titanic and I went there myself and got to see it. I also think they did mention about it going to dissolve. If you want to go, I think the tickets were about $50-$100. I'm not sure if it's still open though, I went a couple of years ago.

  • That's amazing knowing that someone stood on that bow

  • Yes there is but some of the things you see in this video is long gone must of the ship has sank benaeath the sand of the actual ocean floor we were learning about this in school talking about why and how it actually sank .the things in this video is gone.this vidoe was made in about 1980 i take alot of interest in history because it brougt us to be here today and this is one of the things i am really highyly interested in about it and iam willing to learn more and oneday &go and see it

  • I wish they could bring it up but sadly it can't because its been underwater so long and it will turn into rubble. they can only pull up like a few dishes and such things like that :(

  • is there even anything left of titanic now .. o__O

  • @xcheesecakkersx3 yes there is still Titanic underwater

  • why don't they yank that shit out of there and put it in a big museum?

  • Hey people, who can answer this? Whats this in 3:53?? It looks like a fluorescent spider in the window's frame.

  • @fcbmartinso I think it's a crab. :)

  • Why Titanic is "she" and not "it". IT is not a female... i don't get why everybody says "she".

  • They should leave it right where it's at..And give tours to go to the bottom of the ocean and see The Titanic the way that it is..This Guy went down and took film footage right?..So why not take down a group of people one at a time..that would be so cool if you ask me

  • That is the scariest thing ever it's such a massive ship and it's all destroyed at the depths of the ocean in the darkness its creepy the way it's rusted

  • They should leave titanic alone, and untouched

  • NIce

  • Thanks for the video, always very interesting subject, It appears the bow section , is till in good conditoin for the length of time it has been underwater, if this is 2005 footage, but the likeleyhood of anything being done to the ships remains,as a whole item .would be impossible @ approx 2.5 miles deep, and the ex-stream water pressure the wreck is under, It would be likely a very expencive underwater tour of the wreck ,and same for retreiving artifacts,

I probable sank in worst place ever

  • sorry but the video I thought I saw a person put in this video at 4:01 then fixed in the left window I thought I saw the shape of a head

  • @rojoCAIndependiente I saw no head, just a crab.

  • @rojoCAIndependiente Yes! I saw it too! Good eyes! Its literally only there for a split second so it took me a couple of times but yeah its definitely a face and head! Creepy

  • @rojoCAIndependiente Wow! Yes, I see it! So creepy! Good eye!

  • Am I the only one who finds looking at the wreck incredibly creepy? I think about this massive ocean liner rotting at the bottom of the ocean in the darkness and it creeps me out!

  • So far, your video is the closest thing I have seen to any part of the sten footage of the ship. Has there been any extensive footage taken of the stern to show what its conditon looks like? I have read and heard it was almost unrecognizable. Thanks.

  • Wow, you're so lucky, I'd give my left nut to see the wreckage!

  • Many times i think we idiots that we dont raise it,but really it would cost billions and we have 50% changes to bring it with many parts having break up.I think the best time to raise it is when it collapse in 10 years,50 years,100 years{who knows}.Piece by Piece and recreate it as much as we can.IT WILL COST BILLIONS.But think how much dollars it will bring from people paying to see it.THE SHIP THAT MUST BE SAVED IS BRITANNIC.100 METERS{IN MY COUNTRY}IN ONE PIECE,PERFECT CONDITION!!!

  • @77elvistheking It would literally be impossible to raise it now, it's been underwater too long, it's too corroded it'll break apart like soaked tissue paper.

  • I know this sounds silly, but I'm 14 and I cry when I think that the greatest ship of all time is lying on the ocean floor, decaying more and more every day. And also God bless the souls of the men, women and children who died that night.

PS: I think they should just leave the wreck the way it is.

  • @mrpiffles93 Thank you for standing up to your belief, it is good to see there are at least some people not scared to stand up for what they believe in

  • Call me crazy, but they should lift it up, it's possible some people have to much cash. And restore it :D to go back on the sea

  • This is so amazing. I would love to go down there.

It looks so peaceful now, its hard to imagine all of the horrible things that happened to those people on that ship. So many deaths and lives lost, its so sad.

  • This is unbelievable footage of the most famous shipwreck of all time, just look at the comparisons between the 1985 and the current pictures, the advancement of technology in just 20 years or so is mind boggling, i just envy Rob Goldsmith for winning this incredible prize, but then again if i won it i dont think i would have the balls to go down that far.

  • After seing all those old ships from the 20s,30s that existed till the 21st century, getting scrapped i think that Titanic and Britannic are much more luckier than their sister Olympic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope they will last to the bottom of the sea for years to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they should make somesort of submarie trips from a cruise boat down to the titanic to see it

  • @Tylerrodney that would have to be very expensive tho!

  • @Tylerrodney there are. they just cost like $40,000. yikes!

  • @Tylerrodney Impossible. it costs a fortune every dive, and the constant changes in pressure would destroy the ship even further. Its best it be left now =[

  • @Tylerrodney Scientists and historians would be heavily against you due to the fact that visits by tourists in submarines would make the wreck decay faster. In other words, to preserve the ship for as long as possible the only individuals who may gain access are the aforementioned scientists and researchers.

  • @Tylerrodney

Then eventually we'll live down there, and call it...Rapture. (Bioshock)

  • @Tylerrodney You can if you have $60,000 dollars

  • @Tylerrodney That would be risky as the ship is not in a good condition and it may spoil the ships present condition.

  • @playerhacker So instead of risking preserving history we should leave it alone so it can be gone in 15 years? :/

  • Comment removed

  • @wowza191 Ah okay, I understand now. Thats a shame.

  • It took 2.5 hours to reach the sunken Titanic. 2.5 HOURS swimming dowards

  • See the Wreck of Titanic bow ins good, but where is the footage of stern ?

  • Awesome footage!!! I would kill to make a trip down there to see the wreck

  • so how much trouble could u get in for taking somthing small? like fork or a little clock or somthhin?

  • @jukeboxhero844 you get shot in the nipple, shipped of to guam to eat frozen papayas till you grow a large enough hemmeroid to squirt the juice a total of four feet, then you get beaten with a large pencil and then finally the dump chocolate sauce on you and let muskrats eat you..

  • i miss the titanic dreams but ppl who upload videos of the titanic underwater then those ppl are keeping the memories of the ppl who died on it and are bringing back the titanics memories back to life

  • at the bridge are those letters there of the ppl that died on the titanic if they are i cried when i saw all those ppl dieing and i cried when i saw those letters

  • It has been my dream since I could walk to visit the wreckage of the Titanic. It has always facinated me. When I was little, I had model Titanic ships, books, movies, drawings, paintings. I hope someday to visit this remarkable piece of history.

  • The titanic has been my passion for three years now i study this it means the world to me you competed my dream here to seee the titanic almost as if it were easy! thank you so much. so so much i am 14 a freshman and i have no greater intrest or passion then ship wreaks more pesice the titanic this ment every thing to me thank you so much

    Courtney

  • The titanic sunk 3 days after my b-day

  • If you EVER go back down there... TAKE ME!

  • IF I WIN THE JACKPOT...EXPLORING THIS SHIP IS GOING TO BE THE FIRST THING I DO!!!!

  • Does anyone know how to acutally see the Titanic for themselves? In terms of actually going into a submarine or whatever in order to see it.

  • Потрясающе и ужасающе. Печально смотреть на эти развалины, понимая, что эта жалкая груда металла - предмет восхищения и огромной зависти когда - то...

  • this was amazing! i only wish i could see it in person that would be awesome, but i am sad for the lives that had been lost

  • what do you think would happen if the titanic would not have sunk. there would be no publicity and would not have gotten popular probably. strange, you wish the ship didn't hit that iceberg all those years ago and yet if it didn't we would not have probably known of the ship. i guess it goes to show how much you should respect the ships that didn't get popular too.

  • wtf! take this out and put in a museum! thumbs up for real...

  • i nearly cried wen i saw dis footage, scary to think dat plp died in dat ship... i pray 2 allah that each and every soul rest in peace n not suffer n more ,they sufferd enuf in dat wreck... haix... really sad.. those were life's...

  • @japkrazy Yes have you seen the ghost doll video its when they find this doll a murdered girl that had died from the disaster and it flung out of a dead end into the travelers submarine.

  • What A great video of Titanics Stern Thank You Fro posting

  • I would do anything to be able to go down there, you are so lucky and the footage was great. :)

  • I wish we could raise the ship.

i'd like to see it in person.

  • actually it is sort of a good thing that it sunk. because if it didnt, we'd still be making ships in that way, which means it could happen in this day and age as it would of in 1912

  • There was nothing wrong with the basic design of Titanic and her 2 sisterships. They were built to safety standards that exceed those of modern cruise ships. I seriously doubt any modern cruise liner could stay afloat with more than 2 watertight compartments flooded. Olympic & Titanic's original design allowed for them to remain afloat with 2-4 sections flooded depending on the location of the damage. They just did not expect Titanic to sideswipe an iceberg. That was highly improbable.....

  • @olympicnut There were a lot of problems with the Titanic's design actually, "safety standards that exceed those of modern cruise ships. I highly doubt... .." blah blah blah you got no idea what you're talking about, Titanic was built from a weak type of iron, the hull wasn't wasn't well built, the propellers weren't installed in an aerodynamic position, the rudder was way too small, etc etc etc, but every ship has its problems, not just titanic

  • just send ringo down in a yellow submarine and he'll drum it to the surface.

  • moving this would be similar to digging up the graves of several thousand people. Its better off in the depths.

  • great video.

  • at 3:55 is that a scorpion survival of titanic?

  • cant we take it out of the water just asking

  • @22ab11 The pressure of raising it would cause even more damage

  • @22ab11 No They Cant Cause ITs Very Huge Its Like>>>> (Length) 882.75 Feet ,

    (Width) 92.5 Feet ,(Hight) 175 Feet ,Weight 46,000 Tons I Dont Think !! :(
