  • That degrades women, tho I strongly believe its the women who degrade themeselves, but...yeah. Im not gonna get into that right now. Anyway thats all I wanted to say. Enjoy ur day :)

  • Hmmmm... my B day cool nice tribute

  • @bknollenberg (it says MJ has sold 350-750 million, not over 750 million) no it say (the estimated sale of over 750 million records worldwide) they don't count the 250Millions records sold with the Jackson 5 and the 35Millions records sold after his death.

  • You're description of this video disturbs me.

  • ATTENTION DIEHARD JAY-Z FANS!!!

I THINK THERE IS A NEW KING OF HIPHOP .. CLICK MY PAGE FOR WHAT YOUR CALLING THE ONE!!

  • @bknollenberg LOL

  • It matter's not what one may say or think of his music his it still sells. I think like this you are only what you respond to. If you give reason to be disrespected you will be disrespcted. No matter what you or even myself says the mans money don't stop.

  • jay z likes to live forever young we all do. life is short I would like to be 25 for another 5 years lol.

  • Pull up ur pants man how old is this dude 45.

  • @uutube010 he is 40 and if you don't see his underwear it's not low..only immature niggas do that

  • top 5 jay z song.

    can i live

  • i guess jay z is a mj fan to do this

  • @royalnash Who isn't ?

  • How was this a tribute 2 Michael Jackson? Seems like another person who did'nt even know or had anything in common with MJ just incorporating Michael or invoking his name in their show 2 get an applause from the audiance! The Chris Browns, New Editions & Ushers of the world truly idolized & loved MJ,their tributes are on point! Jay's own wife (Beyonce) called The Jackson family dirty gutter rats. Stevie,Quincy,Lionel,Berry,Diana,Smokey & other Motown family members loved MJ 4realz!

  • @mrinnervisionz You are right about people jumping on the band wagon since MJ's death. I respect Chris, New Edition, Usher and the Motown family for their everlasting love to Michael. I think Beyonce regretted whatever comments she may have made. I am a longtime fan of the Jacksons and I know they paved the way for alot of African American artist. Michael is gold and his music and impact on all races speaks for itself.

  • @msladyj38 The day that MJ died, the entire Motown family remained silent for at least 3 days,b4 they made individual statements. Opra Winfrey said when people say cruel shit 2 you, then say they did'nt mean it,she said take people at their word!

  • C QUOI LA MUSIC A 1.29MIN MERCIII

  • I cant understand for the life of me why people are on here comparing Jay to MJ. The man did a tribute to MJ and yall dissing Jay on sells between him and MJ. Lyrics speak to people of that genre. Pop was Mikes, Rap is Jay-Z. None of you can tell me at this current time in 2010 a rapper that is, has or will sell over 50 million records as a solo artist like Jay-Z and Im excluding rappers on Jays status, just the current guys. Nobody buys music anymore.

  • Jigga is the best to ever come around excluding no one

  • @bknollenberg Thank you for your intelligent rebuttals, because it is clear to see femaledancer1 is judging a book by its cover. And its understandable why she would think that way, but hopefully with social media such as this we can begin to educate each other about our differences so these misconceptions can cease to exist. I remember when many black people thought all heavy metal/rock was devil worshipping music but thru exposure that thinking is no more, hopefully hiphop will get its due

  • Why is this madafucka doing a tribute? IT WAS HIS ILLUMINATI WHO KILLED HIM

  • Oh..and he got the glove....I think....

  • Jay Z had built a $300-$400 million empire before he got with Beyonce, thaat means he already had an international audience, and I read MJ gave his famous glove to one the members of the Commodores as a gift years ago

  • I love how Jay saluted MJ...now that is how it is suppose to be done.

  • How come BET didn't give this kind of tribute? Thanks Jay!

  • michael jackson king of entertainment!

  • coooooooooolllll who was in the publikum and have this movie making??

  • @AnikanSkywalker222 u goy it all wrong. listen to it again

  • @AnikanSkywalker222 you make no sense but he clearly says he's celebrating his life not his death

  • who ever thinks m.j. is a pedo i will hunt you and assasinate you in your sleep yes ir

  • nice jay-z, a good way to celebrate the king ;)

  • Thank you Jay-Z... Michael Jackson will forever be the best! We love you more...

  • Yeah, thank you Jay Z that was great, but MJ is the greatest, he is the king of the kings, he always be, sorry for all the other artists :-)

  • great tribute.... Jay-z is awesome

  • best concert i ever say in my life!!!! jigga showed nuff respect!!

  • I can feel the love, and Jigga is really touching thousands with this

  • What camera are you filming with?

    We all love you!!!!

    Miss you!!! ;[

  • "I Got 99 Problems But a Bitch Ain't One." Why refer to someone as a Bitch?? Correction: MJ sold over 750 million records and 9 million since his death. Jay is 39 now--do you think he can catch up? Please, I don't know why I'm having this conversation Jay will NEVER be on the same level as MJ.

  • no one will be on the same level

  • 99 Problems, 2 Many Hoes, Ain't No Nigga, American Gangster, Hustler, Fuck All Nite, Dope Man, There's Been A Murder, etc, etc, are filled with profanity, degrading women, murder, just plain garbage. Rap music is bleeped when played on the radio speak volumes to nonsense being said. MJ has sold over 750 million records from 9 albums, and Jay sold 50 millions records from 14 albums. The numbers tell whose message is most valuable.

  • Comment removed

  • @femaledancer1 Also to different genres of music. Whitney sold more than Beyonce' but that was a different day in time. As far as MJ last album selling 2mil and Jay selling 5mil on BP2, who was more popular at that current time? Jay was so you cant compare Jay-Z sells to MJ's. MJ in a whole other league of Pop music. Mj the man Jay-Z the man too. Im a fan of both.

  • @femaledancer1 SHUT UP BITCH

  • @veercide101Look, I understand you don't have anything of substance to say since the rap music has given you a vocabulary of limited words. I'm just curious, did you get that verse from one of Jay-Z's songs? BRILLIANT!!!

  • @femaledancer1 YEA WHORE LOL UR A DANCER YEA A STRIPPER BITCH LMAO

  • @femaledancer1 jay-z has many songs that aren't good..but on the flip side he has songs with a lot of substance..that say more then a mj song..let me remind i have listen to every mj album....but jay-z american gangster is one his if not his most conscious album..the album as a whole is a cautionary tale of the drug life and it's down fall to a individual... just listen to fallin

  • @femaledancer1 who cares of ur or anyones opinion.......a pop artist will always surpass a more reality or realistic artist who speaks there mind(Curse words). lol. The thing to ask your self is not how many records sold but who bought them. ART CAN'T BE JUDGED BECAUSE ART HAS NO BOUNDARIES. THOSE HEAVEN SONGS THAT MICHAEL JACKSON JUST LIKE JOHN LENNON SPEAK OG LIKE WE ARE THE WORLD OR IMAGINE IS GOOD FOR THE MOMENT UNTIL U GO OUTSIDE. There are really guys calling girls bitches...........

  • @femaledancer1 there are drug trafficking there is murders and if a woman sleeps with a married husband knowing he's married and does proceed anyway like alicia keys THEY ARE HOES! POINT BLANK. THOSE FAKE RECORDS ARE OVA THAT JUSTIN BEIBER STUFF IS OVA. 10 YEARS AGO BEIBER WOULD'VE SOLD 20 MILLION NOWADAYS I DON'T THINK HE CAN. RAPPERS ARE OUTSELLIN POP ARTISTS LIKE MADONNA OR BRITNEY. U GO KANYE, DRAKE, JAY-Z EMINEM LILWAYNE NICKI MINAJ, SHE'S NUMBER 1 RIGHT NOW TO! U HATE I CONGRATULATE.

  • @femaledancer1 Lastly not all rap is bleeped nowadays hun heard of Sirius radio? lol. fuck shit ass bitch cunt pussy damn prick faggot.......it's all there. lol.

  • @femaledancer1 it degrades whores and whores take offense!

  • @femaledancer1 cure your ignorance at once

  • @femaledancer1 k, so I know I'm a year slow with this, but MJ cursed in his music too. Just that a lot of it was censored n watnot. Like in the song Morphine he says, "You got shit baby, ya dogs a bitch baby" and yada yada yada. In This Time Around, he's like, "This Time Around, I'm takin no shit!......" So with that being said, dont be commin on here tlkin bout people havin profanity in their music when Michael has it too. Oh, n rap isnt the only genre with cursin, and it isnt the only one.....

  • @razinhellish1989 At end, MJ didn't care anymore. They had striped away his dignity, the smile he once had had disappeared. Michael was in a dark place and yes he did use profanity in his last material.

However, the difference is Jay-z has ALWAYS rapped about bitches and hoes, that's his message, period.

  • @razinhellish1989 Well, Mike didn't cuss at all for a long period of his life. It wasn't until people started ripping his heart out that he used bad words in his music. Even so, it's pretty luke warm. You can't compare that to any raper today. Mike's music has always been very clean and classy. MJ understood that profanity is sometimes necessary, there's a time and a place for it. But certainly, it can be and is overused. Me, I'm a potty mouth myself, lol, but I wouldn't be so vulgar in my art.

  • @CrimsonOkami *rapper, goodness. >_<

  • @CrimsonOkami

I frankly don't see how Michael could have respected Jay's music when most of the lyrics disrespect women and promote violence. Michael would have never wrote lyrics that were negative because he KNEW music is a powerful force and could influence a behavior.

You have artist who sing to inspire, to uplift then there are others who don't give a damn and are in it just to get rich and don't give back.

Michael gave his all, his money and his music to change the world for the good.

  • @UndercoverBroad

"Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"

    Jay-Z

oh yeah and ckeck out Michael Jackson - You Rock My World Remix (Feat. Jay-Z)

  • @geturtubeon If you ain't saying shit we pretty much skim through it!!

    Undercover

  • I read the rap lyrics and its stupid. Jay talks about nothing of substance. MJs message was about love, save the children, world peace, and more love. The only reason MJ had him on the track is that rap is popular today. However, the generation brought up on rap cant complete a sentence, more school dropouts, crime is up, and the outfits reveal all the private parts. Thanks Jay et al

  • hahah save the children thats a good one. Mj was the aman when it came to music and music only, he was forced into show business whereas jay z did it all on his own. with no help. jay z is an entrepeneur aswell as a major record selling artist of course he'll never sell as much as mj. He was the biggest. Your right about that but you dont know what your talking about when it comes to jay z. 99 problems but a bitch aint one is not referring to women. Jay z has 11 albums +side projexts. rip mj

  • max: Joe had 6 boys he had to keep off the streets and out of jail. So he occupied their time with music. Jay sold drugs killing his own people with that poison then he carried that poison into rapping calling folk bitches, wholes, and gang-banging resulting in most of our men in jail or dead. The way to destroy a race is destroy the family.

  • thats a very valid point dancer1, however i disagree with you saying his music resulted in most of our men ending up in jail or dead. thats like saying its marilyn mansons fault for the columbine shootings, people need to be held accountable for there own actions. jay z was like 19- 20 when he was seliing crack, people make mistakes and that was wrong but you cant blame him for talking about what happens on the streets of new york, a good rapper is a journalist who incorperates his life with it

  • Agreed.

Was telling this to my cab driver today (was a whole other cab ride.. haha). You can't criticize rap without criticizing the environment that it comes from. The things being discussed in rap songs (or at least Jay's stuff) are a SYMPTOM of the problem. The songs are a product of the environment that they (rappers) grow up in. At least that's my opinion (not from that environment so it's really just an observation.

  • dude...ts a very sound observation, you don have to be from a certain scenario or upbringing to undertsand where another person is coming from . thats what art is for. its to demonstrate a certain outlook and describe by any means where one is coming from, menatlly or physically. an mc is (should be) fundamentally a street journalist outlaying there points of view and experience of any environment they might be living in.

  • Although I'm only a fan of a select few hip-hop artists, I completely agree with you.

Take country music for instance. Most country music artists were born and raised in a rural area, are very family oriented and small-town proud. That is the exact picture their music convey, usually about good childhood memories and love-stories.

  • Rock music is usually a wanderer, partying, introverted type of story. And, that's the type of environment most of them came from. Leaving home as a teen to pursue a music career. They move to the city to find gigs and get caught up in mass amounts of drugs, alcohol and sex.

It's the same for rap music. Most of the artists came from a negative environment, suffering from poverty growing up, with drug-addicted single parents.

  • So of course their method of expression, which is music, is not going to paint a pretty picture. I still reserve the right to dislike most rap released in the 21st century.

  • @bknollenberg did you pay 800 for floor seats mine were 779 i never thought they were that high to him check my my vids of hime in atl there are not as great as yours but they will do

  • @maxmontreality I agree with you 100 percent some people act as if they don't have a story or they are too ashamed to admit where they came from or what they had to do to get where they are. I think everyone has a story he admits to his wrong doings but that in no way makes him a bad guy. The government sells drugs to people everyday.............Jay Z sells lyrics................ and for those who listen to what he has to say you'd know that.

  • @femaledancer1 your fucking nonsense in what you say

    your just further stereotyping rappers

MJ was the greatest and we all know that but Jay Z has MANY songs of substance or maybe you just dont have the understanding to incorporate the themes. Other than 99 Problems, the songs you listed arent even Jay Z's most best known. MOST of hop hop is degrading to women until ppl like latifah but to blame it all on Jay and Em are nonsense. Hip-hop is 90 years old since Memphis Boy Band and rap & crime=-_-

  • @femaledancer1 forget arguing with that fool

hes probaly an afro defect and traitor or a white hillibilly who is grumpy as hell and would rather sit and stereotype

for me rap is the best and MJ and Jay are the best, and to say that rap creates crime rate and college dropouts is just nonsense. ppl go to school to go to college to get jobs to get money. So when rappers get money why is it bad to "drop out". and its irrelevent. And NY's crime rate is much lower now, so his statistics are fucked

  • @femaledancer1 so true

  • @femaledancer1 Your on the internet, how can you say something like this without checking it out… your just hating on it. So wrong it’s not even funny.

  • Comment removed

  • Michael did not like the rap profanity, and Jay-Z has filthy mouth.

  • Whether he liked the profanity or not, Michael definitely was a Jay-Z fan. Aside from coming to Summer Jam to be on stage with Jay, MJ had him on the remix to Rock My World. Michael may have been a bit.. weird.. but I think he could handle profanity..

  • MJ may have been a Beyonce fan, but Jay-Z was useless to MJ's message. If MJ did have Jay-z on a re-mix, I bet MJ wrote the rap lyrics. Jay-z is over-rated and his hipe is all in his head.

  • That's funny. MJ didn't write the rap lyrics. Try listening to it instead of just speculating about things.

And anyway, you're acting as if every Jay-Z song is just profanity-laden, which is really not the case.

  • @bknollenberg

MICHAEL WAS NOT A JAY-Z FAN! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!

  • @UndercoverBroad did MJ told you that in person????

  • @femaledancer1 You're right, Michael didn't prefer profanity but he was tolerant of it. He was very open to all kinds of music and art, and just because someone's cusses doesn't mean Michael didn't love them. There have surely been many people in MJ's life that used profanity. He even liked Eminem until he made an ass of himself and disrespected Michael. And even if MJ didn't like all of Jay Z's music, that doesn't mean he didn't respect him, you know?

  • REPRESENT MJ good looks J lets celebrate the King

  • jay z is fucking corney how the fuck is he holding down rap??? OH I KNOW. BECAUSE HE'S A INDUSTRY DICK RIDER AND THE CEOS KEEP HIM ON TOP BECAUSE HE'S NOT GONNA MAKE ANY REAL CHANGE IN THE WORLD, AND MAKE PEOPLE USE THEY'RE BRAINS, HE'S JUST GONNA KEEP THEM ROCKING WHATEVER CLOTHING IS HOT

  • shut ya hatin ass up u fuckn faagot ass bitch ass nigga suck a dick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • One thing is for sure is that Michael Jackson would NEVER celebrate the life of Jay-Z. It would be a waste of time.

  • eat a dick.. u dont know what he would have done... u faggot

  • Michael was a Jay-Z fan, you bum.

  • I'm supprised Jay Z can keep up with his old lyrics.

  • Im so mad i missed this concert

  • fake ?

  • Michael came to one of Jay's many classic shows at the Hot 97 Summer Jams and went up on stage and both talked about each other being the best at what they do. King of Rap with the King of Pop.

  • In which song?

    Post your proof,

    of shut the fuck up.

  • rj obviously u have been in a whole....all u gotta do is google that son! there's a pic for proof. even fat joe dissed 50 and said "mike jackson be in the hood more than u do", referring to Summer Jam.

  • you dunno what the fuck you're talking about. This isn't a show for michael, Jay took a minute to celebrate michael's music and life. He does that with Big, Pac, Left Eye and others a lot in his shows.

  • I was talking about the BET awards, you dumb ass.

He's the one that was calling the shots about Chris not doing the tribute at BET, and he was petty for that.

  • Once again dumbfuck.. WRONG. Get your facts straight they verified Jay never said shit about Chris not performing, or Chris not being in the building. Jay even said he would never do that, and BET confirmed. Don't believe me? check the last Tim Westwood interview with Hov in UK.

  • and what does that mean? Alot of people lie to keep from looking like dickheads.

BET has been crooked ever since they stopped showing programming that black people prefer. Hell they should really change the name, because it is no longer Black Enterainment Tv, but that's besides the point.

That aint the first lie JayZ told and it will not be the last. Quit being so damn gullible. damn.

  • How am I gullible, if by now radio hosts in attendance, the network and Jay-Z all confirmed that wifebeater was not shut out. You need to stop being so gullible and listening to hype. Stop listening to what the word is from perez hilton. Don't talk about fiction, talk about facts gossip queen.

  • BET can lie. THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU GULLIBLE.

BET has been crooked since they stopped showing black entertainment and kept calling themselves BET. LOL.

And Jay Z didnt get to where he is by telling the truth all the time. I'm sure he can confirm that too.

I dont visit that gay ass perez site either. From the sounds of it, you do. LOL. Work on yourself. LOL

  • "Oh, at 2:24 he points at me. Yessir. "

    Shot bro!!!

    LMAO

  • Hov is the Truest..."Are we talkin bout fiction or fact...OH we talkin bout fiction? well pardon my back"...lol he so cold...

  • Iceberg Slim
