I think you almost got it, I like to play bm a e, but the bm is a power chord. Here you are playing the high end of a bm barre chord, which is also the same chord for the arpeggiated sequence.

There are a couple spots in this lesson where I brainfart and say Em when I should be saying E. Just to repeat, it;'s an E major chord I'm playing even when I for some reason say Em. Sorry about that.
