I'm not saying the PS1 and Frontline is shit, they're not, it's that Allied Assault series is basically the last and superior of the whole series. And you know that 2010 Modern is really fucking shit, and it's shit cause they really don't have to imitate Modern Warfare.

To people talking about how this game is better than COD, keep in mind that a lot of the lead designers that made this game left 2015 (MOHAA's Developer) afterwards and formed Infinity Ward, which started COD. So the guys who made COD were the same guys who made this.

@rarerayrulesumm, first in 2001 this where great grafhics cod1 was made in 2003 and those grafhic's were shittier than this, it had great and HARD levels, like SNIPER TOWN, you also have a HEALTH BAR and your health doesn't regenerate. thats far more difficult than Cod. also in 2001, you could almost never aim in a game without a scope dumbass ,this game is far more better then cod and MEDAL OF HONOR CAME FIRST

"The graphics are worse" is a stupid argument, there were no graphics as good as MW2 in 2001. You can't use a weapon scope, um, okay. Bit less realistic, but does that make it less fun? There's a balance between realism and fun. A very realistic game would be dull and boring. Graphics for the first CoD (2003) were about the same as this (2001). 2 years late, CoD was.

how is modern warfare realistic. i shore hope you don't join the army because when you get shot with a m203 you cant hide in a corner and wait for that missing arm to grow back. and the game play is horrible beyond belief and there is no quality in modern warfare they were released in half the time this game took to release. this game is far older and will always be better than modern gayfare. the only thing that cod has is a larger community that wont last long since it is horid

@corvettecrazy262 I actually rather enjoyed Airborne, I'm confused by people who didn't. It has awesome graphics, looks pretty damn good. Realistic, good weapons, the upgrade system makes sense and benefits the player, creating a more fun experience. Parachuting in really enhanced the graphical feel of it, how when you were dropping in you could see to the other side of the map, such as sniping in Nijmegen. Vanguard was like Airborne, but less awesome. :P

omg modern warfare 2 is garbage, the game is so poorly put together that i found glitches on the very first level of training, i even went threw the entire campaign and found allot more missions with horrible glitches. the multiplayer is just horrible unless you want to play private matches because the community is so hopelessly retarded that it would take years to find a match were your not getting A. spawn killed or B. being noob tubed.

The only thing i didnt like about this game is that your allies or teammates die way too quickly or their cut off from the game xD it feels more fun and epic playing with ai controlled soldiers who don't die very quickly (and that can aim and take cover)

In fact if you remember the intro to Call of Duty says that victory was not won by one man. Aiming down the sight and melee have become standard.

I 100% loved this game back in the day though. Maybe not too much of a focus on story, but you know.
