  • This is a very good band, especially considering the small numbers. The side drummer is great, he is on his own but is faultless! The euphonium and bass players are excellent! Well done all!

  • Possibly Kaiserslautern football stadium.

  • Another brilliant piece of film Winnie. This band is based not far from where I live and I have seen them live, marching in Manchester. A superb advert for the British Army in Germany.

  • The DOM on trombone and the BM on bass drum. All hands to the pump!

  • The BM on Bass Drum -must be a first.! By Land and Sea is a Royal Marines favourite on many of their Recordings

  • @jimnopidy The BM was on french horn. The bass drummer was the Band Sergeant Major.

  • Heck of a bass trombone! That thing must have three miles of tubing.

  • what the name of the last song?

  • The Lord Of The Dance

  • THX

  • anyone here have the music track of By Land And Sea? i need it urgently. thanks..

  • The pic player is great she has such nice nails very clean and tidy. the bands is ok you need more players you seem very short. For a Dom to be marching must mean you are short. not band thou for the numbers.

  • Very nice March !!!

  • The parade brought back memories of visits to the normandy band (Now the band of the Kings division)Not butch beer going to wheeton teese days.Cheers Lads.G Winstanle

  • Ah the good old days, I remember it well.

  • One reason to upload this video. ;)

  • SUPERB

  • Around 4:40 or so its "Vanished Army".

This video is fantastic Thanks very much mate for all your videos they are much appreciated.

  • No, The march about 4:40 is not Vanished Army but Arromanches.

  • Yes, my mistake.

I get the two confused quite often.

I have both though, superb pieces of music.

  • Thank you for sharing your collection of military band music on YouTube. Vielen Dank!

Starting at 02:27 and finished at 04:20 is Coldstream Guard's regimental slow march "Figaro" based on the aria "Non piu Andrai" from Mozart's opera "The marriage of Figaro"

  • NO, the march at 2:27 is not The Coldstream slow-march; rather it is "By Land and Sea", a slow march by Kenneth Alford first played in the 1930's.
