saw them open for the B52s in '79....then i HAD to see them headline at The ROXY in Hollywood immediately after..AMAZING!!!

One more thing, dyrrmaz: at that time in Japan, there was a huge problem with underground groups breaking into the mainstream. There was a "ceiling" by record producers who favored cute pop stars. But at the same time there was a huge underground of punk, new wave, synth and everything else going on, that couldn't get a record contract. Plastics were one of the few to break that ceiling.

xxxKINGFROGxxx: you must have not been around in the late 1970s and early 1980s in Japan. Plastics were hugely popular. The fact that you are talking about them on YouTube -- talking about a group that existed before the Internet -- should tell your young mind something.
