You aussies are so lucky! All my favourite artists manage to come to New Zealand except for Beyonce :( She does about 5 or 6 tour dates in Australia and her entourage cant organize ONE date for us Kiwis :(

@blUdz18 - It has nothing to do with her entourage. No NZ promoter pushed to get her to Auckland, and I suspect it's due to Auckland not having a sufficient venue. Simply put, there was nowhere for her to perform.

@Rakim8 Trust me.. we have venues here.. world class ones!! ACDC were here not long ago, and so was Lady Gaga... Shes been here twice already! Beyonce is so popular in NZ, I dont know why anyone would not want to promote her here :(

@blUdz18 - I'm from Auckland, I know exactly what you have. Theres a number of reasons. There were no venues at the time sufficient for her show. Lady Gaga played Vector Arena and the audio for Beyonce's show was configured for larger venues with superior acoustics to Vector.

@blUdz18 - Also, its not all to do with not being promoted locally. Her schedule was extremely tight and Sony requested she do a minimum number of shows in Australia but the tour needed to include the F1 Concert in Singapore. She had a very small window of time to fit all the Australian shows in between the MTV VMAs in New York and then the F1 to kick of the South East Asia leg.

@blUdz18 - The logistics of getting the show to Auckland just wouldn't have worked even if Mt Smart was available during that time, as that is the only venue I can see that would have sufficed.
