  • lol @ "reasonably intelligent english language sentence"

  • claps for the knowing of that word. I honestly didn't know it.

  • Witticism?

  • Wow, a $10,000 spot. :) Now they have the $1 million there.

  • Lol... This show is screwed up.... Why do they applaud everytime someone spins the wheel? Seems a bit retarded...

  • 2:48 he is a English teacher?

  • @narnia0100 Sometimes proper sounds to the human ear as improper.

  • ...and welcome back to the bankrupt show.

  • their hands must be dead after all that feckin clapping.

  • The doesn't have any money so far and he solves without trying for the W, C or M?

Way to go for the win, guy.

  • This is kinda fun to watch

  • I've noticed that Megaword, more often than not in the clips I've seen, is always in the "$10,000 Wedge" round.

And yeah, Megaword was a bad, bad idea.

  • stinko lol

  • Is that Debbie Downer in the middle?

  • stinko?? hahah was i the only one to catch that

  • Sure i understand about the whole happy atmosphere about the place, But why the hell do americans have to clap to EVERYTHING.... sure clap when they win something, BUT WHEN THEY SPIN THE WHEEL? i mean what the fuck

  • That's just how they do it on wheel of fortune. And yeah, I think it's silly too.

  • And the cinema, lol

  • that's tradition! isn't it?

  • they are clapping coz these ppl can spin the wheel

  • @madmanadam1 I attended a taping back in March 2008. Charlie O'Donnell said something like, "If Vanna is clapping down there, you should be clapping up here." She claps while the wheel is in motion, so the audience must clap as well.

  • SPIN THE WHEEL!

I would spin it so fast. :)

  • I would too hahaha

  • he pulled that out of his ass, and for what, NOTHING!!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha

  • Frankly, this was one reason I always loved to watch WOF season 12, to hear how Pat would mock the Megaword category that particular night.

  • Technically, wouldn't that mean Australians like you don't speak English either? Then what is it that you just typed? This American thinks you should get your head screwed on the right way before you comment.

  • American is not a language in and of itself -- it is just a dialect of English, much like your "Queen's English". They're the same language, albeit with a few minor differences.

  • American isn't a language my friend.

  • I concur. Australian English is just as much a diverse dialect, maybe even more so, than American (because we have all that stupid slang!)

  • We have our fair share of stupid slang here in the states. Frankly it annoys the hell out of me.

  • LMFAO HILARIOUS

  • glad they took megaword off the show. Despite all the bank bankrupts and lose a turn's these ppl were very chillax

  • crazy round with lots of bankrupts

  • what does that word mean?

  • Was this Doreen's first or second day on the show?

  • Doreen's 2nd day on the show! I have this episode on tape!

  • 3:15

Well that pays for my flight ticket

  • hahahahahahahaa

  • how enthuastic was he when he gave that sentence in the end!! lol

  • tiTTyfuck. to solve, pat.

  • I knew what it was after 1:47.

  • me too.

  • Why there is too much witticism in TPIR showcases this season?

  • This video lacked witticism!

  • Drew Carey does a lot of WITTICISM during TPIR commercials.

  • Wait a sec Isn't Doreen in Posetion of a Free Spin??

  • Wasnt Frank on Family Feud with his family in like 1988?

  • Wow Dorreen looks like a witch lol

  • What year is this from?

  • 1995

  • I can't use the word witticism in a sentence.

  • I think there were longer rounds. Somewhere on here there's a video of contestants trying to solve "Rave Reviews" and I have a round on tape where the puzzle was "Flute & Piccolo" and that took a little while to solve.

  • Wasn't this the longest time it took to solve a puzzle ever?

  • There's another Megaword puzzle that took even longer. The word was "Oxidized" I think they went through the entire alphabet before it got solved.

  • I just watched that video and it did sound like they used the whole alphabet
