  • One of the best soundtracks ever!!

  • This game NEEDS to be on Wii's virtual console!

  • im LITTLE NEMO side scrolling with my mind knowing

im in a dream, animated as I fight goblins

runnin away as I RUSH 'N ATTACK

gunnin my way, shoot, crush & adapt

  • oh! Those wily Rush'ns!

  • Jesus christ I nostalgia'd so hard

  • Rush'n Attack:Call of Duty I AM YOUR FATHER!!!

    Call of Duty:0_o

  • Whoever is playing is a shitload better than I ever was on this game!

  • The game was such an ass, but I still loved it.

  • If they're threatening enough to develop a secret weapon, how come they cannot fire at some saboteur running in their base?

  • There is a secret code in the title

    "russian attack" haha

  • Very underrated Konami game for the NES.....was overshadowed by Castlevania and Contra.

  • In the NES, you had to destroy a nuke. In the arcade, you had to rescue POWs..

  • My GOD I LOVE this game! Game play and soundtrack are intense. I spent so many nights trying to beat this game, and "Section Z" about the same time.

I see you have tons of these video game music vids, and I'm only on 39 but I hope I come across Section Z later

  • lol he defeats the entire russian army with punches and then climbs over a jagged wire fence

  • @suckmycaulk

Dude, this game is returned with more advance Graphic card using the Unreal Engine to making it realistic to play.

  • @suckmycaulk its with an Army Knife, not punches.Have you ever even PLAYED this game?

  • wow .... MEMORIES!

  • I love how Konami recycled a lot of their music in games like Jackal, Metal Gear, Rush N Attack and Life Force.

  • One of the very best examples of 8-bit gaming music, period. Even today, more than 20 years later, the music from this game is still excellent.

  • wasnt this game originally called Russian Attack in the arcades? its been a long time =^P

  • oh boy. 20 years later I get the pun.

where I live (s. am.) the arcade machines were named "green beret". dunno if those were asian boards, though.

BTW, as far as I remember the NES port was even better than the arcade version

  • @scorpirus Actually, the game is Rush 'N' Attack in the ARCADE ports, too. It's only called "Rush 'N' Attack" so we, America, would have avoided ANOTHER war with Russia! However, the Japanese and European names for this game is "Green Beret". Why we call it "Rush 'N' Attack", well, that's just STUPID! ;)

  • yes this song is very the best of nes thanks

  • first audible digitalized voice I heard on a nes game were konami's...blade of steels, double dribble...that was so impressive in those times.

  • classic!

  • Konami makes some of the best soundtracks... Contra, Rush N Attack, Castlevania.

  • Awesome

  • I thought you rescued POWs in this game...

  • fucking AWSOME music

  • Never played the game myself, but I think I've seen video of it before on ScrewAttack or somewhere. Good music.

  • Love the Cold War play-on-words for the title, lol.

  • The boss music is probably the best loop I've ever heard. The tune really makes you pumped up. I can't get it out of my head! :D

  • Great, great, GREAT memories with this game, when I was 6-8 years old. Nearly 2 years gameplay, completed 5-6 times + 1 time with 2 players-mod.

Don't have NES anymore, but I'm still playing this classic with vNES :) Never forget this one.

  • great collection of games

  • Awesome memories here ^^

  • this guy is a pro-gamer :)

  • it's from the SDA speedrun

  • typical konami sound

  • That's because Konami's sound team are GODS!

  • @BattleGolferYui

Don't you mean Konami and Capcom are Music God ?

Since these two legendary companies been working so hard for the game sold to us for our memories childhood.

  • @Angsc09 You got that DAMN right!! Capcom ALSO had awesome music! They STILL do! ;) Mega Man 2, Rush 'N' Attack, The Goonies, Street Fighter II and MUCH more!

  • @BattleGolferYui Rush N' Attack was made by Konami, not Cpacom.

  • @Bittergamer1886 That's why I said ALSO.

  • @BattleGolferYui Oh. K.

  • @BattleGolferYui Mmmmmmhmmmmm.

  • @BattleGolferYui

    Konami are gods in total

  • @CMOODO Yup! THey made excellent games, music and UNFORGETTABLE gameplay. Especially Disney Sports for me. XP

  • rofl my friend, bro, and i are utterly professional at this game. never give up.

  • Yay! at 1.48

  • lol@ the german shephards

  • i never beat this game. but it rocked

  • Holy crap this was one of the hardest games i've played back in the day.

  • Konami was the king of NES for me back then.

  • I think that also capcom, and obviusly nintendo.

    those 3 were legend.

  • Jeez, I remember owning this game. I never beat it, but I loved the little bit of music I did get to hear.

  • haha this game... I liked it but it's obviously cold war inspired. Rush'n Attack...haha

  • Hey mate, have you got this video game? I am dying toplay it again!

  • I haven't played this game (honestly, when I saw the word Rush, Megaman came to mind), but then I remembered the game play from another video, something about this game being based off a game only in Japan or something.

  • How i remember playing this NES game.

  • I remember playing it with a friend all saturdays and sundays.
