Mudvayne hasnt changed a single thing when it comes to their ablums, they're concept albums about religions,science,government,drugs. Now the sounds of the albums are a little different, but they have a meaning to every album go beyond the music and study. then you will see why they're the best rock band of the past decade
Chad Gray, when he first came to Mudvayne. He was perfect for Metal. Latly since 2008's album "A New Game", Chad Gray has still has a "Metal" voice, but he has developed kind of a "country sound" to his voice. I think hellyeah is good for Chad, but I still think he needs to be with Mudvayne. That was an All-star Band in my opnion, a great bassist in Ryan Martinie, a great drummer in Matt McDonough, Guitar is just ok. But they are great!

They can play something hard and tight like "dig" and "determined" and then turn around and churn something beautiful and complex like "goodbye" and then go and take a massive shit on every other competing band all over again with their music in the "hellyeah" band. Mudvayne cranks it like no other
the style changed dramatically after LD50. teoattc doesn't even sound like LD50. some of the songs do, but his voice, the bass and song structures sound very different. the tuning on the guitar sounds different too. mudvayne even said they dont want any two albums to sound the same. but they do keep this distinctive sound with each album that only the new game really lacks the most. but no matter what they sound like, they are my favorite band of all time.
This song makes such a good point (as they usually do) about corporations turning us all into consumer assholes who buy shit so we can replace the shit we had before. 99 percent of everything created is thrown in the trash. The government taxes pollution but doesn't actually do anything to fix the pollution. Meanwhile, you buy your dumbass toys, watch your dumbass tv and masturbate to the freakshow that is gang banging our planet.

i most definitely agree with you, i've been listening to Mudvayne ever since Lost and Found (i know, i'm a late Mudvayne bloomer) and from then they really have improved themselves. I'm not saying I never heard the past 2 albums cause those two left me speechless when i went and bought them and thought bout how they improved. long live MuDvAyNe!!!!

I believe Gregg's improvement through his involvement in Hell Yeah is responsible for the increased dynamics and relative fluidity of the new music. Albeit, I wish the breakdowns were a bit more choppy, a la (k)now (f)orever or severed.

It's not just him, the band has evolved as a whole, and the new music has more filler. Back then, all music like this was raw, that's probably why it stuck with you more. Nonetheless, every album kicks ass, including this one.

Not a big fan of this album, I think Mudvayne lost a lot of it's edge after Lost and Found, but this song is really heavy and strong. I like it :D
