@DelishuzBarbie actually, if i remember correctly, Nigel was THRILLED with this choreography. He was very disappointed with the others that night and he said "FINALLY!!" and he praised the hell out of Laurianne. I advise you to look up the whole scene with the judging.

@kristengrapefruit Depends what culture your talking about. It's fine to scream and clap during performances at, say, a bboying competition. The audience for this show screams at everything. The dance could be about watching as someone you love dies and there would still be someone in the audience going "AAAAAHHHH!!! JASOOON! MY PURITY RING HAS YOUR NAME ON IT!! AHHHH!!".

There are definately times when it shouldn't be done. This audience can't destinguish between good and bad cheering points.

This was an incredibly dance routine. I STILL can't help but watch Brandon as he throws himself around deep in expression and yet lands soooo solid (more than her I'm sorry to say). HE was my favorite male.....and Janette (the salsa dancer) should have won. Even the Judges said "America got it wrong".

i think one of the reasons i love this routine so much is that the choreographer hasn't forgotten how much power there is in watching two dancers doing the same moves together, perfectly in sync with one another.

@lilbaconstrip You can see the obvious difference in their skill in this video alone. Look at all of Brandons solos versus hers. He always delivered, every dance. The only reason he didn't win was because of his personality. The judges thought his personality was an artificial one, and didn't give him the win.
