Very very sad day when trainers from both worlds cannot recognize SOME benefit in the other. Cesar will admit he is not a dog trainer. @andysepul1 I suspect that it was also the environment. I noticed the dog was fine with adults but unpredictable with children. I think it should have first been rehomed to a dog expert who perhaps is single or with a husband. If the dog couldn't be rehabilitated in a different environment, a neurological disorder is evident. There WERE other steps to be taken before considering PTS but the family thought it was the best decision at the moment. We'll never know now

The vet sent him home with a clean bill of health and said he deserved a second chance. When the dog bit again they started saying he might have a medical condition. The last time Benji bit someone they said it was a neurological condition. That's an excuse Purley Positive trainers use.

i am really dissapointed. victoria is 100% right and the dog benji suffered from mental problems. this means that Benji could be just fine but then he could attack to other people. it was the only thing to do if they didnt want to be bitten once again.the dog had already bitten their doghter. i believe that it was hard but it was the only thing to do.

I don't consider myself to be a 'dog person' by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know that Victoria Stilwell's advice is sound and that her ten years' experience has helped countless thousands of dog owners. Furthermore, these people invited Victoria into their home - if they don't like what she has to say about their dog then that's up to them, but to slander her as 'ridiculous and incompetent' is discourteous, insulting and undermines her professional expertise.
