This band has very wide appeal, and this song is one of the reasons why. The lyrics are poetic, the music is beyond intense and the emotion in Jari's voice penetrates.

@FireMoviesNL They didn't split up. Kai, Teemu and Jukka's work are done on the album. It's all down to Jari to mix it up, add orchestras etc. But i wonder who will step in if they release it this year and plans to tour Europe, Because Teemu is in the military at the moment.

@HayerXz But Akerfeldts guitar playing is average, and not even that when compared to todays generation of guitarists. His writing and vocals are what makes it, but I give both of those to Jari easily. Jari's guitar work is phenomenal even for today.
@PanamaSabroso I would take him even over Akerfeldt, and in all honesty he does give Akerfeldt a great run when hes on fire, here Jari's vocals are lacking compared to the normal, probably because these songs are very new.

Yes, they wrote the second album ''Time" already and recorded all the bits of it but when they tried putting them together their computer couldnt handle it and crashed so they need a better computer and then the new album will come :D
true.... but if you think about it... the stuff he did with ensiferum first was (to me) just... early wintersun music... especially iron.... in my opinion at least...
durrr... i'm well aware of that. all i was saying is that there's plenty of similarities in the stuff jari worked on in ensiferum and then after in the stuff he wrote for wintersun and that you could almost count Iron as an early wintersun album since he obviously took what he was doing in ensiferum and went into it deeper, whereas when petri lindroos took over the frontman duties of ensiferum things are starting to change a little.
