I like the game on the internet you can actually download for free and shit "pirates of the carribean." disney hosted it or something (never took notice to these things- just download and play) You can create your own pirate and jack sparrow is there and all the character's except its not the octopus guy its some scary ghost dude/reaper looking. And the pirate chicks are sexy @_@ and there are guilds, pirate ships,lots of islands and cool missions. I prefer that ;D

People say this game sucked, but it was enjoyable.

The Good: The music was the same as the previous Ascaron Pirate games. I also likes the romance in the game. The sailing was very fun also, the best part of the game. Besides the supernatural parts in the game, it was historically accurate (Geography, era accurate ships, and Blackbeard). The storyline was epic too.

The Bad: The voice acting was cheesy, the dueling lacked, and the blood looked lame. Never got why they called it Two Treasures

lads, if u like pirate games i strongly recommend Pirates Of The Burning Seas, the MMO. yea u have to pay for a subscibtion but i have played tons of PC pirate games over the years and POTBS has to be the best!

This game is bullshit - i have played all the versions of the Sea Dogs (in America & most of Europe also known as Age o Pirates) and they are the best there are.

I personally am a fan of such games but what i saw in this video made me barf (and not from the cuitness) - my mark for the game -10 (it makes the whole idea of pirate/ship games look bad) >=(

No! This game is the biggest piece of shit I have ever played. You don't have absolutely zero freedom, meaning there are no random encounters only levels. You got sea battle levels, and fencing ones... it is completely linear, repetetive and boring, whatever you do don't download this game. This comes from a guy who enjoys playing Pirate like games

I must say Age of pirates 2: "City of Abandoned ships" is by far the best pirate game I ever played. It is extremely realistic. You can adjust the realism and difficulty up to 5 levels so that game can be either too easy or extremely hard. You can activate blood in the game so ship boardings got that bloody pirate feel to it. You have COMPLETE freedom to decide who are you going to work for (english, dutch, spainsh, french or be a freelance pirate). The game is a little bit buggy

Also when boarding ships you have to battle alongside your crew against the opposing crew members and then have to duel the enemy captain. You can build your own fleet and give orders to your other ships (unlike in Sid meier's Pirates). You can capture and loot cities, take enemy crewman and captains prisoners, hire officers, make the big buck by smuggling contraband, sell prisoners into slavery, upgrade and customize your ships, you can even change flags on your ships to you deceive the enemy

Pirates of the caribbean as the one from AKELLA? from 2003? you should try Age Of Pirates: Caribbean Tales... they improved a little bit the storm engine. I believe they used storm 2 for POTC(wich was supposed to be called Sea Dogs II but they changed it to match the release of the movie) AOP:CT uses STORM 2.5...
