Go to online file manager in your byethost control panel and navigate to /YOURDOMAIN/htdocs/ upload the file there

Odd...you are using Easy Web Publisher correct? If so, are you using izFree or what? (If the problem persists I suggest switching to Byethost, as I can provide more support)

Yeah, apparently is not accepting new users. But you don't HAVE to switch, but I, personally, can't provide support for anything other than Byethost

This video was created before iWeb 09 came out..or before I got my hands on it anyways. I have since upgraded form iWeb 08 (used in this video) to iWeb 09 (used in my more recent videos)

In iWeb, where you set it to publish to a folder, you should be able to choose that location yourself

Depends on the size of you site, could take up to 45 minutes on the first upload, but after that you can only upload changed files which makes it shorter.

It is usually a yearly payment of $10-20 (depending on type)

Not at all! The FTP settings are based on your username and can be found by clicking the view FTP settings under FTP manager once you've logged in to VistaPanel. You can add your domain name by clicking on addon domain under the Domains once you've logged in to VistaPanel

I think so, also I saw that some people complained about not being able to sign up at all. If this is the case, I suggest Byethost, they have much better up-time than izFree, more memory space, and are easy to use.

You don't sign up for iWeb, it comes on every Mac.

iWeb is completely free of charge. You just need to make sure that you are publishing to a local folder and NOT MobileMe (which is not free)

I have a question. How do you update the site that you make after publishing it to your domain name?

Whenever you want to update your site, you just re-upload it. If you use Easy iWeb Publisher as your FTP client (which I suggest you do) you can select to "Upload only changed files" so that it will update anything in your site that you changed. For more info watch parts 2 & 3.

Sorry, most of the time when I am using Internet Explorer, most of the websites I visit recommend using a different browser.

yeah, you should really try Firefox. IE is just slow and is a huge headache for website designers because it can't handle PNG files, which is a popular file format for images with a transparent background
