alright heres what you do you take it into the other cage where you feed it. you can buy regular or small bananas. you peel them. and then just offer it to them and they should eat it. but beware. it can get messy :D

and i went to the pet store to sell them my snapping turtle and they said i have to stop feeding it chicken and stuff because its bad 4 them but feed ur snapper crickets, or these small fish called rossies because gold fish are bad 4 them 2

Goldfish are indeed bad to feed pet snappers, mainly because they aren't very nutritious, but theres nothing wrong with Chicken irregularly. Minnows and Rossies are the best feeder fish.

you will need a 20gallon min and i think a gallon of water per inch of turtle, soon i will upload my tank and setup along with my 6 RES ;D

make sure if you get a 20 gallon that it's 20 long not high, because they prefer to swim across not up and down =]
