You can use one click with 2.3.3 as I just did it with my x10 lol this is a great walkthrough by the way, very useful for learning as I am a first time rooter and modder. thanks a lot
I have sony X10 with android 2.3.3, Can I root the phone with Super One Click or I cant? because I see you done it with 2.1 and I'm scared destroy the phone.. and one more thing, with the recovery i can return the system to 2.3.3 I mean like before the rom?
@tkjbi1 1. If you're on Android 2.3.3, you can NOT use super on click, you must use the root method I show in Part 2.
2. I no longer have an X10 so I can't be sure, but you should be able to make a recovery of your orginal 2.3.3. Keep in mind however, that the phone will still be rooted, and apps like Superuser and xRecovery will still be present on the phone.
@tkjbi1 Yes with xRecovery. Before you flash CM7, use xRecovery and make a backup, however the backup will keep xRecovery and Superuser. Then flash CM7. If you want to go back to the Sony version use restore on xRecovery.
To be honest you shouldn't delete xRecovery and Superuser, they are essential to the X10 and root, they make the phone better. You also shouldn't have to go back to restoring the Sony version of Android, its terrible.
