styptic pencils are not expensive, and can be found almost any where. If you do not have like a Walgreens where you are, you can buy them online. It is much easier the then the things this guy taking about.
Cold water is good for small nicks. Otherwise, an alun block, which has antiseptic properties, is perfect after shaving. Stings a bit, but the stinging is perfectly bearable.
while shaving hair off my upper lip i was trying to get the hair near the corner of my mouth and apparently sliced into it. Now everytime I eat or open my mouth wide it breaks open (no bleeding tho). But it hasn't completely healed. I've been putting neosporin and its almost been 2 months now. I'm really frustrated and don't know how long it's gonna be like this. I don't think seeing the doctors will tell me anything different. Eventually it should heal on its own? =(

Why does he not mention a styptic pencil or styptic powder? It is stuff specifically designed for shaving lacerations.
