looks to me the diector is trying to get a lot of phyical stunts out of this, in stead of a lot of CGI work. the ram should have been set higher for her than for the guy, then her leap would scale over his and the car, giving her the illusion of a wonder woman,..her costume looks fantastic! it works..R.G.

This is a more traditional Wonder Woman. Originally she couldn't really fly. That's why Diana had the transparent plane. As for WW fighting Nazis in the 60s. She didn't. Only the 1st season of the 1970s TV show was set during the 2nd World War. As for her costume. I like it. It's a modern version of Linda Carter's which was a lot like the comic. Adrianne Palicki ugly? I don't think so.

God everybody just calm the hell down. The costume is great, it remind be of Cassie's (Wonder Girl) costume. So what if their not sticking to the comic, look at Christopher Nolan's Batman, he went as far from the comics as he could without fucking up the entire character and the movie did insanely well. Look at Smallville in it's tenth season and Clark Kent hasn't even become Superman yet. Bottomline is they just recently started production the show has to go though some trial and error.

How does one know they have picked the wrong actress until she has acted the part? C'mon, I loved Lynda Carter, too, but Lynda Carter was a WW, not THE WW. The WOnder Woman is a comic creation. The Lynda Carter show was fun, but poorly acted by all involved, kind of silly, and poorly produced.

The classic costume would not hold up seriously in the modern TV world. Much like Wolverine's yellow spandex costume.

The fear for me is the poor plotline- she has lost her superpowers and past.

As a fan of the series (comic, cartoon and tv iterations) I found this clothed Wonder Woman well-done and a good interpretation. Are you going bonkers simply because she is sticking to the original character by not-flying? And calling her a "drag queen"; if you actually knew drag queens you'd realize how far off the mark that is. I hope the show does well and we are all pleasantly surprised with it (and we aren't subjected to another MutantX or BatmanForever, haha).

And Mutant X if given a chance had some brilliant moments. One of the finest (and only) naturalistic portrayals of superheroes in any medium. It was certainly more mature than people in tights who don't kill villains and refuse to have sex with ANYONE. It was so NOT geeked out. Plus things happened every episode unlike the TERRIBLE "Heroes" .

BUT since Xena and Smallville there has been creative efforts to boast to some degree villians that can.
