The 'flow' of amrit is just a dribble. Once there was just one amulet, but when visitors increased, suddenly there were two. Halagappa (former baggage thief now taking major donations under false pretenses.) interferes every few seconds with a spoon which drips amrit from the jar. The amulets may be hollow with concealed openings but Halagappa never allows genuine examination of either amulet (he limits it to seconds)! One is not allowed to dry it off and wait for a new flow, for example. Why?
