yes techno was influenced by house. but it is not house music and that was only some techno artists not all of them. techno and ghetto tech are different. ghetto tech comes from detroit and it involves sped up techno/electronic mixes. the sped up music comes from detroit whether u like it or not. ghetto house was only explicit lyrics but not sped up. ask chitown dj's what their mixes are called??? they will say its ghetto tech, the youngins call it juke music but its not...its just chitown style

I have homies that live in Detroit and I have friends that go to Oakland, so I went to Detroit quite a bit, and left early quite a bit cause there was nothing to do and it was lame. nice downtown by the way. lol.
