  • Awesome video you make it look so easy I want to try. I know I don't have the skill though. Thks.

  • This Video and its segments was outstanding.. I've never seen anything like it on Utube or anywhere else for that matter. I wish more people would put pride into their work as you have clearly demonstrated. Please continue to enlight those of us who wish to learn. When I purchase my Saiga 12, I hope to be lucky enough to have someone like you outfit it for me. It would be well worth the money. Thank you

  • Im Sold I will be bying one soon

  • nice job

  • Outstanding! your of sense quality and attention to detail is paramount and I tip my hat to you. Do you accept weapons sent to you for such mods and if so what are the requirements for payment, hence wire transfer, plastic, etc????? Again great job !

  • Best dadgum video on UTUBE ! Many many thanks !

  • Great video. Ray have you had any concerns holding the weapon with a vice on the barrel? Could the barrel become warped?

  • I might get one in .410, i want to do the conversion too. If i get a us stock, pistol grip, muzzle break and handgard and mags all U.S. of course, will it be 922r Thanks.

  • Every couple months I re-watch this series of videos. I wish you fellas would film more of these..

  • That was easily the best Saiga conversion video I've ever seen and probably the best one ever made!!! PLEASE PLEASE Eric...let me mail you my Saiga 12 and Saiga 308 for conversion...the only thing I'd like to add is a folding mechanism so the adjustable stock can be folded to the left

Which brings up an interesting subject: why are so many AK folders set up to fold to the right

  • is that a shotgun ???

  • Great series, brother! Clear and concise verbal instruction and more importantly you took the time to show what you were doing. As most of us are visual (hence searching 'youtube') this was a killer tutorial.

  • Awesome series....excellent work on detailing all the steps. I don't have all the tools you were using, but it looks like something I might consider trying myself if buying one configured like I want isn't cost effective.

  • Thanks for the effort Ray, it's a pleasure to watch a real craftsman at work.

  • Watched your video on an ipod and about went blind after so many parts to conversion. Really enjoyed your work. I had already watched a couple of others before doing my conversion and found all a little different in their techniques. I enjoyed doing my conversion with just hand tools and planning on doing bullet guide and gas piston replacement. You have earned my respect and admiration for your gunsmith skills. Would rate you very high in performance.

  • thank you for taking thr time to make a great video!

  • Most definitely better trigger pull. Although I went the CSS way and did it with a drill which was alot easier for me considering I don't have any of those tools to use lol.

  • Very good series. Pleasure to watch.

  • Great video. However I will make one comment: Put the camera on the other side. You're standing with your back to the audience. Kinda hard to see what you do.

  • this is the best conversion of the saiga that i have seen and i have seen a bunch just wish this was on when i done my conversion thanks for taking the time to do this

  • Thats kickass... nice job. Is there a way to make a tactical double barrel shotgun?

  • That was some fine work. Quick, clean, done with care and also very informative at the same time. Great series. I hope to see more..

  • Oh and hey, could one be made with a foregrip also?

  • This is my Glock. There are many like it, but this one is MINE.

  • i cant find your range vid of this thing, can you help me out?

  • Thanks for your time! Awesome!

  • Many thanks Ray!!

  • Thanks for the video, very well done and very informative.

I've never worked on an AK, but I'll have a leg up when I do.

    This was good work.

  • How's the AR-15 stock work out for ya?

  • omg that gun is beautiful, does anyone know if saiga's are legal in Canada?

  • Thanks for the great video I am looking at getting a Saiga 12 and like you said said I want it the way the Russians intended the shotgun to be built

  • how does the charging handle stay open with no round and without using latch or did i miss something?

  • Hell of a job. Great seeing someone taking care over their work.

  • whats your favorite gun?

  • Awesome work. I watched all 10 parts and enjoyed them all.

  • Man... this makes me wish i didnt live in Cali

  • Outstanding work, Ray!

  • This was a great series! Hope to see more in the future.

  • I dont think this video, or any you posted, will sell jobs out. Actually, there are a lot of jobs that should be doned by an official gunsmith (someone who has studies in that matter) like trigger weight adjustment, anything related to headspacing, caliber conversions, fixing dangerous military firearms (DP marked .303 kill people...litteraly) etc... I work in a gunshop in Canada and I have seen too many backdoor gunsmiths blow their feet off because of a poorly done hair-trigger job.

  • @Extrapolato since your a fell Canadian do you know if saigas are legal in Canada?

  • excellent series

  • Very well made videos for the proceedure. Shame the Morons in Congress and other Legislatures have no understanding that guns are so simple to build that Gun Control Laws are effectively useless except to enslave a Citizenry. I have seen pictures of guns made in prison and guns made with nothing but hand powered tools. All work and all kill effectively, yours just looks nicer and more intimidating LOL

  • is that legal to do in canada ?

  • Hell Yeah! Now THAT is homeland security. God bless America

  • BRAVO-ZULU!!! THAT is SHIT HOT WORK! I am very impressed in how easy the conversion can be! OUTSTANDING WORK!

  • OMFG MOAR VIDEOS! Thanks man.

  • Eric - I watched all 10 parts, the video was great. I get the feeling that Ray is totally in charge of what he's doing. I have all the tools he used in my shop, but I don't know if I would tackle the job myself. He's the type of guy I'd trust to work on my stuff. I'd be highly interested in seeing more of his work. Keep 'em coming brother.

  • @mmcilwain12347 He's a top notch guy. Cares about what he does.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 Do yall convert saiga .308? Or atleat do trigger jobs

  • Excellent video series.

  • cool

  • Eric, please pass this on to your freind that he is a True Craftsman! and it has been a great pleasure to watch this series. Thanks you.

  • Sweet

  • Great Videos! be sure to show us a shooting test

  • oh god thats awesome looking i want two

  • Ray is amazing!!! Thank you for posting these videos.

PS: How do we send our stuff to Ray to work on?

  • Cool man great video series!

  • That is bad ass, thanks a lot for posting this series! What is the cost in parts to do the conversion?

  • Man that was a great series you put together there. I'm almost sad to see it's over...lol Guess that just means you'll have to put some more like this together! :-)

  • Great job Ray I can tell you take pride in your work. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more videos like this I enjoyed it a lot.

  • Great job sir .

That was a great series of videos. Thank you for taking the time to show us how to perform this mod. Thank you also Iraqvetran888 for all of your great videos. Thank you for your efforts, They are greatly appreciated. Hopefully I will have something to contribute the the community here real soon. Thanks again.

  • @MacTeutates I think you'll find that more and more with today's economy tons of people that would normally take in a gun to have it worked on are trying their hands at doing things themselves. Luckily for people like us, a large majority of them break more than they fix...lol.

  • @Iraqveteran8888

Exactly what I would have said. :) If you have DIY people, they would be doing the modifications regardless of this video. If you *do* share your information, not only do you spread the word of what modifications are even possible, but you show how good your work is too. Plus, while no one step is that tough, there are *lots* of them, enough that I'd rather have a gunsmith who knows what they are doing perform them so I didn't mess up, plus you can do it a lot faster than I can.

  • @MacTeutates really? Since i saw this vid i know of several projects i'd like him to do, just cause it looks easy on camera doesnt mean its easy in person

  • sometimes on those plastic mags for AKs and Saigas, you can trim down the tabs on the front or back of the top of the magazine to help it go in and out of the Mag well easier.

  • @MacTeutates We have sold several jobs because of this video.

  • Thx to Ray - reakts on camera like a pro.

  • Awesome, thanks Ray!!!

  • How hard is it to swap out a barrel on this or a Yugo m70 both milled and stamped? Thanks!

  • Sweetness.

  • GREAT SUCCESS!

  • OUTSTANDING video series!!! Thanks so much for posting!
