In the present time you are being lied constantly through politics like in Europe (a very good example is Romania). Nobody is on the good side anymore even if they choose to think otherwise because they are in a system that only works if someone looses (the majority of the people!). God help America!

Reagan grew the government. War on drugs was/is nothing but stealing from tax payers to pay prison shareholders.

The government and private sector need each other. However, the public needs to own the government and we have allowed it (since Reagan) to be owned by the private sector.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the government or the private sector, but both are ran by humans. That's the problem with both.

The best societies combine socialism and capitalism.

The USA has adopted the UK system of a ruling class. The Ivy League universities was to create a an Oxford/Cambridge setup. It does not work. The US will fail.

The UK Tory party has Cameron as leader. He put into his shadow cabinet mainly member of his old Upper Class school. We have 100 universities and to them only one "school" matters.

Allowing rebels of other classes into theirs is a way of making them like us. Very British.
