Of course they ended up each other. There's a reason why cagalli wasnt wearing the ring that athrun gave her. It means that "time" she's doing her role as the leader of the orb and it shows that she believe that athrun will come back to her even without wearing the ring=) and in the final plus athrun was wearing the orb uniform and he's an admiral which in fact he's working side to side with cagalli. And cagalli and athrun had to go through so many happiness and sadness together=)

Athrun & Cagalli DID NOT SEPERATE. Athrun did NOT get together w/ Meyrin! This is official! The creator of GS & GSD made an appearance on TV excusing himself for not making it clear that Athrun had returned 2 Cagalli @ the end. There are 2 legit AMC's (anime music clips) where he made this clear to fans. They're Reason & Akatsuki no Kuruma & they're posted on youtube by boredandsleepy1. Their authenticity is proven @ the end w/ Fukuda's signature & Sunrise's approval.

I'm pretty sure that they're still together. Despite the fact that it showed Meyrin walking with Athrun at the end, she didn't walk side by side with him. she was behind him. Also the ova clearly shows Ahtrun wearing the orb uniform and meyrin wearing zaft's uniform. So I'm pretty sure they're not together. He couldn't possibly fall for someone else so quickly. Afterall, he gave Cagalli a ring despite the fact that she took it off later on.

I think the fact she no longer wears the ring proves their no longer together. Athrun realized she was willing to marry somone else for the sake of Orb. Her love/dedication of her nation surpases that of Athrun. He knows this, but there's no telling what the future hold for them. But as it stand i think their not together.

Yea Athrun wearing the orb uniform put me at ease also also in final plus it looked like Athrun and Cagalli had emotional goodbye hug, if you've seen their expression closely, I believe they still have hope.

I don't think they should be a couple, don't get me wrong I absolutly LOVE the pairing, however....It makes sense that they would only be friends after destiny, especially with cagalli being the chief representitive of orb.
