Is this the Montclair show? To this audience member it sounded like total mud. What garbage acoustics.

I saw most of the early Branca shows such as the Kitchen and Franklin Furnace premiers and at least you could HEAR what was happening. Even the outdoor World Trade concert of Hallucination was better.

@VacuumBoots81 branca's music is interesting but it doesn't swing much. Like Miles Davis said silence is more important than sound in music. There are a lot of people working in the tuning field. The minimalists like Le Monte Young and Branca got it partly right but digital is allowing some really interesting things to happen with harmonics and intervals. It's coming.

Just to put my two cents in here as another member of the orchestra, Glenn was to all people involved an absolute gentleman of the highest caliber. The fact that your 'mate' completely ignored Reg's food requirements (and those of a fair few of the the other performers) belies his entire attitude throughout the entire week. This wasnt just some rock star hissy fit, the guy was told repeatedly about this.

having been in the orchestra, i can assure you that your 'mate' Paul Smith is a complete asshole. glenn was yelling at him because paul had PURPOSELY served pasta with cheese to Glenn's wife, who would have gotten seriously ill had she eaten it. paul is a man who makes a lot of promises, and blames everyone else whenever he fails to live up to them. he can fuck off and die for all i care.

About our hours ago I was just playng the 13th symphony at Rome's auditorium. Great show! If this part is from the first movement, I suppose that Glenn changed it. The first movement I played was named "March", and it was slower.
