It's little white bumps that can develop when the skin's pores are blocked - usually from too rich creams esp the undereye area which is delicate. To get further info (as my understanding is basic) do a websearch. I'd avoid applying undereye - rather on your cheekbones as I demonstrate. hth!
I use the 187, too and used to apply as you do but then I saw a video about how stippling it for the whole application gives a much more airbrushed effect and it really does! it's a bit hard to resist buffing it in at first but you get used to it. Just thought you might like to give it a go, although your skin looks flawless already anyway :)
hello there great video could you tell me what the name of the sunscreen you use is and where it is sold in the uk, the consistensy looks good not thick at all thankyou :)
Loved the routine, thanks for the tips! When using the eye cream you mentioned preventing milia - that seems to be something I get, but I can't nail down what's causing it. Is it incompatible cream, or something too rich? If its too broad of a question, don't worry :P Thanks again!
I think it is to do with rich creams blocking the pores under your eye. It's a delicate area and I think bc when applying you concentrate the cream in that area that how pores get blocked (as opposed to how one applies cream to the rest of the face in a general motion).
A relative developed milia after applying a rich cream in this area - so I started to apply my cream a bit lower down! hth
Oh, that does make sense.. I guess I may be a bit liberal with cream, I don't just get them under my eyes, almost on apples of my cheeks, but once in a blue moon, get them removed by the beautician. OW the pinching! haha. Thank you for the quick reply :)
i love the smashbox,, fx (i keep mine in the fridge) I think it works better cold. Another smashbox product i love that gives you the natural look is halo. its a wax base with antioxidants in it. love your vids...
Thanks for this vid. I'd never know you had freckles. I do too (along my cheek bones) and am using Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective gel to try to lighten and dimminish them. I am starting to notice a difference. I absolutely love their Hydrating B5 gel!
Soft Ochre does tend to crease only a tad bit by the end of the day & yes Bare Canvas lasts all day on me but I only use BC when I want a lighter base. UDPP and TFI dried my lids out : ( fab tho they were
I know what you mean, UDPP is very drying but I put up with it as I hate creasing, Soft ochre creases by end of the day and I get so angry...! - but I don't want to layer UDPP then a pp so I just never seem to use S.O unless I'm only out for a few hours. hmmm, it does work at evening skin lid tho, I have discoloured lids too. I'll have to dig it out and give it another chance!!
Creasing and drying - hate them both! The UDPP and TFSI just dried my lids out so that when I applied anything on top - cream/powder e/s it just went all crackly - yuck!
Love this flawless look. I did use the MAC Fast Response eye cream, but didn't find it did anything. I switched to an Elizabeth Arden eye cream at night only. I used to love the Becca concealer. I need to get another one of those. Sephora used to sell it, but they don't anymore. I have to see if they have a web site.
I stopped using it because Sephora stopped selling it and that was where I bought my makeup becuase it was downstairs from my job. Since then I have used, Mac Studio Finish concelar, Touche Eclat (too sheer), and Make up for ever's lifting concealer. I like them all for different reasons, but I remember loving Becca.
Hey u mentioned millia in eye area wat is that? Ps. Should i not be applying moisteriser on under eye?

Thanks! Does the Skinceuticals work?
The B5 gel really helps me in the drier winter months too.
moodeve 2 years ago
Yes, yes, yes!!! I have to admit! And I've also got a friend hooked on the B5 gel as well.
P.S. Because of you I got myself my very first MAC lipglass in Spring Bean! I think of you everytime I use it!

I use Soft Ochre too but it creases :( Do you find it lasts all day then? I think bare canvas lasts way longer... not to mention UDPP of course...

Yeah me too - the MAC Fast Response didn't do anything really.
I absolutely love the Becca concealer - I think Neiman Marcus sell it. Why did you stop using it - or what have you been using in the meantime?
