  • Leave my sister out of it, alright?!

  • DON'T TOUCH HER

  • I just Love this

  • WHY DO THEY DO THAT, THEY ALWAYS RISE AT DEYBREAK

  • My favorite scene in the movie; hilarious !! :D

  • This isnt the great peter fondas trip, this is some limey crap... OOPs wrong door. Sorry.

  • Two very talented, and very intelligent, people. Superlatives tend to be overused, we are all guilty of this from time to time I suppose, but these two gents are undoubtedly from the very top drawer of entertainment. Cheers, D.

  • @duncansunrise Couldn't agree more on every point you make......

  • Steve Coogan is a genius. Why did his American movie not do better. There are only a few clips on youtube but they are hilarious. It has a lousy title, Hamlet 2, but the clips are worth watching just to hear his incredible accent.

  • I love Coogan's face at 1:58

  • Hahaha as Billy Conolly, "Why do they do thaaat?" :P Brilliant.

  • one of my Favorite actors.

  • ive watched this 11 times now...

  • @treydog3000 Snap!-ish..

  • On the dot.

  • delish !

  • In our house nobody can discuss what time to get up without it turning into the entire dialogue from this scene. It's become impossible to just say "I'm setting the alarm for seven".

  • What scene number is this?

  • I know it's all part of his persona but I wish Steve would smile more. I just love his smile, it's gorgeous!

  • @Angusismyhero - I CONCUR!!!

  • A little like the Dennis Moore sketch by Monty Python.

  • Sleep well my brother. Sleep well my sister. But please... Do not sleep with my sister.

  • who would dislike this?

  • @rjdrays288 I think some people have a compulsive urge to click 'dislike' just to be different and 'controversial'...

  • @ChristopherHeward it is a shame. i feel sorry for people who don't understand this comedy. this is soo funny

  • amazing!

  • 'Why do they do that... why do they always rise at daybreak?' Brilliant!

  • Well this is VERY funny.

  • 3:00 It's Craig Ferguson!!

  • And then and only then, Sire..

  • This is one of the best parts of the movie for me, right up there with the Michael Caine impression lol

  • 5 people are cowards

  • @ahauntedattic Yes, and they suffer a lifetime of affliction for it.

  • dislikes?!?? 5 people's sisters were touched

  • dislikes?! 5 people slept in & missed the battle.

  • Gentlemen, to bed! For tomorrow we....BREAKFAST!

  • Nine thirteh

  • Leave my Sister out of it !!

  • I could watch this scene over and over again

    Brilliant!

  • Rob brydon's laugh :)

  • I thought this was the funniest scene in the movie, this and Michael Caine, and I enjoyed seeing it earlier this week.

  • Coogan is a gem. If he brings down Rupert Murdoch, he will be a God. Then, we shall rise at day break to honour our Lord.

  • @papersplease Fuck ye-ah!!!

  • Sleep well my brother, sleep well my sister.... but please do not sleep with my sister.

    LOOL!

  • One of my favorite scenes in any movie, in any genre! "For we rise at... What time is the battle?"

  • Are they doing a second series ??

  • Yeah, the Trip was legit. Watched it through a few times - this was one of my fav scenes. Coogan's campy Scotch "Rise at Daybreak" at the end is fucking glorious. Another favourite scene from the show is "That was CAMP!"

  • So what do you say about 1billion people who rise BEFORE the daybreak? Every day.

    Those people are called Muslims.

  • Good example of British style comedy.

  • Along with Three Lions, this is my favorite movie of the past...five years? There's nothing better than really smart British comedy.

  • Oh my God, the Billy Connelly impressions were hysterical. "Hhhhwhy do they doooo tha'?" xD

  • <3

  • I seem to recall hearing this joke on Frasier about ten years ago. Still, great minds...

  • ish!

  • Don't touch her!

  • i would love to go on a trip with these dudes!!

  • stay a while by the fire, talk of battles past and old, and then and only then sire, go thee to bed. Sleep well, sleep the sleep of a 1000 martyrs.

  • i honestly could just sit in the backseat and listen to them all the fucking day

  • sleep the sleep of a thousand martyrs!

  • Dead look in my eyes...

  • "Leave my sister out of it! Alright?"

  • Haha I love how it turned into a Billy Connelly impression in the end :)

  • "Do you want to have a run, Sire, in the morning?"

    Brill.

  • Coogan is a genius.

  • Brilliant! both of them!

  • "I love to do a costume drama in these hills, just leaping, vaulting over dry stone walls with a scabbard with this dead look in my eyes because I've seen so many horrors that I must be ammune to it..."

    :D

  • LOL!! This was great........ gotta love some british humor. WE RISE AT 9:30..... ISH.....

  • Leave my sister out of it. Don't touch her!

  • "But now, to bed. Unless! You are one of those people.. like me, who finds it very hard to get off after he's eaten cheese. In which case, stayyyy a while by the fire, talk of battles passed. And then, and oooonly then siyahhh, go thee to bed!"

  • saw this at West end Cinema, DC... great, great movie. will buy it on DVD, and see it again if i can

  • 2:09 best face! Would sleeping with his sister be appropriate?

  • why don't we see Steve Coogan in more movies? he's enthralling

  • comic genius

  • Best part of movie.. hands down

  • This definitely is the funniest thing I've seen in since Extras with Ricky Gervais!

  • this was the only good part of this movie

  • Give me back those 3 minutes....

  • @MrBusinessModel NO. They're mine!

  • best movie i've ever seen. im buying this as soon as it's out on dvd. thanks for making such a great movie!

  • Some people are intelligent and naturally funny, me and my mate just talk, and come up with something ingenius every 10 minutes, just get Coogan and Brydon to chit chat, that's all we need on TV.

  • Sire, it is a continental breakfast; it will only take 20 minutes max.

  • BRILLIANT. I laughed for the whole sequence when I saw this in theater

  • That last line was a killer.

  • Insanely talented.

  • GENTLEMEN TO BED!

  • xD "Sleep well, my brother. Sleep well, my sister. But, please, do not sleep with my sister." "Leave my sister out of it!" "Leave my sister alone." "Don't touch her!" GOD, I LOVE THIS!

  • @JudeBarrett That cannot be scripted. It's surely some classic improv.

  • Jesus, I would pay for elaborate surgery to have the bass register of Steve Coogan's voice

  • sleep the sleep of a thousand martyrs.. lol

  • The BEST!!

  • Leave my sister out of it!

  • "why do they do that? they always rise at daybreak"

  • Why do they always do that? In Billy Connolly's voice - pure gold. I'm an American who pretty much worships at the altar of good english 'humour' - so I like to see the British comedy remain intact however I thought adding the American modern "ish" to the skit was really funny and apropos.

  • @kiroyale we say "ish" in the uk too. for the last few deacdes anyway...

  • @kiroyale we say "ish" in the uk too. for the last few deacdes anyway...

    Origin:

Middle English; Old English -isc; cognate with German -isch, Gothic -isks, Greek -iskos; akin to -esque

  • @tryharder75 Cool, thanks for the etymology. I read some commentators going on about it being "american" but I didn't do any research into it. And I really think it works with this - very funny.

  • @kiroyale Haha! No problem. I wouldn't normally be such a stickler. It's a great show isn't it? Also check out the new Alan Partridge short pieces on Youtube if you haven't already: "Mid Morning Matters" Cheers

  • @tryharder75 Mid Morning Matters is absolute genius...especially episode 9!

  • love Rob Brydon's gasp at 0:37

  • 'tis a continental breakfast, will only take 20 mins max.

  • I love this pair up, do it again fellas!

  • he is driving against traffic.

  • @chasbo13 No, we drive on the right in Britain.

  • @YouKnowThatBaldGuy Britain drives on the left you pleb hahaha

  • @YouKnowThatBaldGuy Err no! We drive on the left hand side of the road in Britain, You can drive on the right but i know who will live longer!

  • @chasbo13 false

  • @chasbo13 no hes not my brother

  • "Leave my sister out of it, al-right?" Haahah xx

  • rob brydon's laugh is pure joy.

  • How do they do that, they always rise at daybreak!?

  • tis a continental breakfast !!

  • its english comedy- and coogan has that sensibility.. hence his "problem" breaking thru to an american audience. the americans are where the money is- and some of the english refuse to distort their sensibilities by way of breaking into that dumbed down market. jud apptow (sic) and the hollywood x'ers have their english imitators- would you believe? why imitate what idiots produce? its called the bottom line- . which is double speak for greed.

  • the "ish" tops it. why are they so obsessed with the american's.....? is it that english success does not bring with it what american success does? in england... with success you get to work more-- in the states... you get a pool and malibu...

  • @ColdChicago Lol how are they obsessed with the Americans?

  • Sleep the sleep of a thousand martyrs! XD

  • Thanks for uploading! Could listen to these two ramble on all day.

  • they should really do this film it would be really funny like blackadder on turbo!!
