  • I have this processor and radeon 6770 1gig with 8gig ram, good for gaming

  • @TheCrackerBrony my setup is just this with 4gb of ram and a 4650.

running only 32bit windows right now so im only using like 3gb ram, but ya it does what i need it to do for me and im quite happy from it

  • @allenmsec how did you oc to 3.9ghz, and what mobo and ram do you have? the most i did to this was just 3.6ghz but ddnt feel like i needed the bump so i left it at stock <3

  • Can I have your wallpaper? :3

  • @skellytoon273 it comes pre-installed with windows 7 under the album (characters)

  • would this be a good upgrade from an Athlon II X4 640? Or not very noticable?

  • @mrSqueakyRAT upgrading from an athlon ii x2 7450 , i did have an enormous performance gain, but if you think that youre athlons performing quite good and you feel contented with it then i dont think you need to have to upgrade to this denebe :)

  • What do you think of this processor? Is it quick? Can you multitask well?

  • @xrockislife3016x this processor is well worht the 150usd i spent on it, it performs well on games and other software it also multitasks well.

  • @zoom26 Thanks man (=

  • @zoom26 Watching all these videos I'm excited that I bought this processor, I managed to pick it up for 80 bucks off of AMD's employee purchase program.

  • agony to listen to this music

  • @lifemetall can always turn the volume down lol

  • @zoom26

I liked it if that means anything :)

  • @DrSpike666 sweet man, i think ill build a pc for a friend and i'll try to do a video on it as well, btw im not sure which one did you like ? :) but yah, appreciate it either way

  • @Rodriguito123456 i dont even see the need to oc it =) i currently upped my mobo to a msi 785gtm e45 (ddr2 ram and ati 4200hd) ocz reaper 1066 ram(clocked it to a lower 800mhz) and somehow downgraded to an HIS 4650hd 512mb since i think i had compatability issues between the ram and the video card which i find very weird lol And yeah pick up the 945 c3 , it has a lower tdp (95w) instead of the higher 125w standard for phenom ii x4 and x6 =)

  • how good is your mobo? Do you think the m4n68t-m is bad?coz it's only like 50 bucks

  • @Rodriguito123456 mine's pretty decent,i just bought it for like 50 or 60usd back then. also Asus sounds great also, but im not sure about the chipset. it should be good enough if youre gonna use a discrete graphics card and just make sure that youre cpu is supported by it. ddr3 also is cheaper i think than ddr2 so i dont see nothing wrong with that asus mobo

  • @zoom26 Isn't ddr3 new tech,and coz of that,more expensive?

The truth is I heard that asus' mobo chipset is pretty bad. But I really don't care, coz I won't be using the onboard graphics.

    What do you think?

Thanks for the fast answer bro

  • @Rodriguito123456 yeah ddr3 is newer tech, but for some weird reason theyre cheaper than the older ddr2. well if youre not quite sure about asus, go for a gigabyte or an msi mobo.

  • @zoom26 Thanks dude, I'll go with that mobo

  • @Rodriguito123456 which one in particular? do you have the other parts with you yet?

  • @zoom26 the asus m4n68t-m, with a phenom II x4 945. Planning to OC it to a 965. Some DDR3 ram and my HD 4670.

    My current rig is hd 4670, E2180 @ 2.6Ghz, 2 Gb DDR2 ram, and asus p5b-mx

  • 9600 gt? and it runs that well huh, guess my problem is the only intel dual core 3.1 processor, I really which i sent my build towards this, even last year it was $180 for the BE.

But really the 9600 gt isn't a bottleneck?

  • @darknessofkrish well the 9600 is a bottleneck, i only got this card because of the case restrictions i had before with the acer aspire ax1300 which case is like the size of an xbox 360 lol . but if youre going for a new build or an upgrade there are a lot of options for better video cards and theyre gonna get cheaper since newer gen cards are coming out (ati hd 6000 series and the nvidia 500 series)_

  • @darknessofkrish I say get a GTX 460 best bang for your buck right now

  • @whONeEDZNaDeZ Thx, not what I was asking there, but I'm actually looking at those now, with a lot of them on $20+ sale, but I'm running 2 9800gtx+ bfg fac. OC'd SLIright now, but could single 460 probably out preform them by a worthy bit?(also maybe using one as a physics card if possible?) and is that dual core, even if oc'd to 3.8 to 4.0, going to be a bottleneck? also 4gb dual channel 800mhz ddr2 ram. (OCZ SLI ed.) thx btw xD

  • @whONeEDZNaDeZ oh and uh, by physics card I mean if I stuck one of the old 9800s in there.

  • @darknessofkrish well IMO most games right now don't take anough advantage of physics But ya i would say a 460 would do better

  • @zoom36 im not on any budget, so your. Saying even though the athlon is 3.1 ghz the phenom is better thanks for your help

  • @TheCoolGuyFifty5 yeah, thanks for the video commetns too =) if you have any other questions feel free to ask, do you have the model numbers in mind anyways?

  • @zoom26 Yeah the amd phenom is 945 it is also a 95w which means it takes low power but still the same as normal and the athlon model is 445

  • @TheCoolGuyFifty5 yep =) now, make sure that the motherboard's bios supports the cpu

  • @zoom26 Thanks for your help:)yay

  • @TheCoolGuyFifty5 no prob, thanks too for the comments and the questions. and dont forget to tell me about the build/upgrade when its finish

  • @zoom36 but the amd athlon triple core has 3.1 ghz

  • @TheCoolGuyFifty5 yeah but you said it yourself , its a triple core. it has one less core. =) and it lacks the l3 cache. the amd athlon line is more like the budget line for amd, while the phenom line is like their premier line. but yeah, if youre on a strict budget and minds spending like an extra 30-100usd then i guess the triple core would suffice

  • The phenom is a better choice esp because it runs cooler then it has a l3 cache

  • Hey guys which is better an 3.1ghz amd athlon ii x3 triple core 445 or an 3.0ghz amd phenom ii x4 quad core prossesor

  • @TheCoolGuyFifty5 The phenom is a better choice esp because it runs cooler and it

    has a level3 cache

  • I have an HD4850, 4GB ddr2 800mhz, eXtream 450w and athlon x2 5000.

but im going to buy a phenom ii x4 945

  • @ped4thalife nice choice man, i hope youll like it =) how long ago did you buy the 4850 anyways?

  • @zoom26 ya man already bought the phenom and im lovin it! i have a hd4850 since december 2009, why?

  • I want to run a

    AMD Phenom II x4 945 c3 (3.0ghz 95w tdp)

    8 GB GSkill DDR2 1066 Mhz Ram

    Geforce Palit GTS 450 Oc'd /995mhz

will I be able to rip any game out there apart? Or should I go for ddr 3 ram and a core i7?

  • @blingblingbling420 yeah if just for gaming then that setup will be enough, i dont know what the max resolution on the 450 tho

  • very nice

    which case is that?

I'm thinking about getting the Antec 900

  • @Weslo2 Raidmax Scorpio 868 its quite roomy, but i took the LEDs on the front coz it got annoying when im watching movies in the dark lol try the antec 900 is nice but isnt it pricey?

  • @zoom26 it's around $110

it's a really nice case though my current case I have to remove the side since it gets too hot

antec 900 is designed to cool even the hottest systems

  • @Weslo2 from where are you gonna buy? newegg ? and what cpu coooler do you have?

  • @zoom26 I'm going to buy it at a local computer shop called "wintronics"

the store owner always gives me deals because I shop there often

currently I have the stock cooler, it's fine with the case on, by that I mean it doesn't overheat... but it gets very close to it (80-90*C with side of case on)

and it tends to get loud

without the side of the case on it hovers around 65*C and is quiet

    also I have a micro case atm (M3N78-VM being a micro-motherboard)

I'm looking to upgrade my mobo and case

  • @Weslo2 wow those are high values , are you sure its C not F? lol the highest ive got from a modern processor is a 60c i think, an athlon dual core in a matx case acer x1300 to be exact

  • @Kalebrules12 surely is "bang for the buck" c:

  • @derek56ace cpu 150 psu 60usd case 60usd dvd drive 30 cpu fan 20usd gpu 120usd motherboard 60usd ram / monitor / hdd from a acer ax1300 (400usd) but 4mb ram can cost as low as 80usd 500gb hdd can cost 55usd monitor can cost 100usd
  • how much did the build cost?

  • haha thanks XD what better music to compliment a rig right?

  • nice music :D
