Ehm, isn't this called a SPECIAL stage?

There are seperate "Bonus" stages, but this is where you get a special item needed to complete the game, so therefore it is not a "Bonus" stage.

i think you're a little confused. bonus stages are accessed by using a starpost. special stages are accessed by using big rings, which weren't in sonic 2...

the fact that you typed a sigh shows how little you have to offer to the world and how invaluable your opinion is. and not in the way that it cant have a value applied to it, but in fact that it is worthless. this stage, while fun, in no way shape or form compares to the sonic 3 stage. this stage is just the foreground for that stupid cha-cha song. ie:slide to the left. slide to the right. one hop this time. two hops this time...the sonic 3 stage took skill and perfect timing. this takes neither
