I'm alittle disappointed in the new song lists that have been coming out. Don't get me wrong it's cool to have like mainstream radio songs on DDR, but there are hardly any original DDR songs on here. The only like original ones were Dynamite Rave, Can't Stop Fallin In Love, Matsuri, Put Your Faith In Me, Max 300 and Healing Vision. I miss the real true DDR songs.

@bosmoq I've tried doing that and it doesn't work. The only reason it appears on the song list is if you've unlocked the extra stage, and you have to beat it to unlock the song, which is not an easy thing to do. Is there any easier way of unlocking the song?

In my opinion, I think SN1 had the best US setlist in the history of DDR. It had a lot of cool licenses. Plus, it had the perfect mix of revivals, new songs, & crossovers. We need another setlist like this. And we need it NOW, Konami. >=|

@GuiliganX apparently u can only get them by going into Extra Stage during the game mode. You can get into Extra Stage by getting a AA on any song in Expert during the final stage. I think u get to pick one of the songs and you need to get an A on the song in order to buy it from the shop. I'm not aware of any other way to unlock the songs, which is why I think this game is annoying.

this is where the series went downhill with it's steps with very few exceptions.  Max300 super-max-me-mix is definitely one of them, since it was in JP before this version I believe. Which would technically make it a veteran song, not new.

the song 'A'? Hm, no. I herd it, and it's too slow to be that song. The song I'm talking about is noticable by it's fast violin playing, and flutes along the way. Really asian-ish tune. It's from the arcade only I bet; it might've been from the 'In the Groove 2' or superNOVA 2 it was way back along like... 2005-2006.

I know it's frustrating for many of the newer fans when trying to get a PS2 (soon PS3) games for the USA, but as long as Konami does not invest on getting the Several licences missing (maybe due to their lack of knowledge on licensing process for the "Dancemania" songs in the USA), we will be missing them, unless you become a purist and get the JPN imports and play them on a JPN or modded PS2.

@fischguy777: Konami will be adding more latin music content in future games, so get used to Latin rhythms. ("Tierra Buena" on SuperNOVA, "La Bamba" (Extreme and the Horrendous SuperNOVA 1/2 version, "Here We Go" (The hated Reggaeton Track by Ozomatli) on DDR X, and the several Spanish songs added on X2 are just a teaser).

I hope you're ready for Latin Pop, Reggaeton, Latin Dance, and tropical among others in the future.
