watching this on a dell mini10v with a 160gb hard drive, dual boot of windows 7 and os x 10.5.8, works flawlessly down to the battery meter and wireless in both OSes. Totally worth it, and it was a blast to put together.

get a dell 10v it runs leopard to same as mini nine but bigger

you know you can get laptops with a removable touch-based tablet screen. There's a brand new one from Always Innovating. It would of course be much harder to get it to work with the differing hardware and drivers required to run the different modes (screen on vs. screen off) but just food for thought

i might get that, i osx86ed my acer laptop, the only draw back with that was it was slow, took about 5 minutes to boot, but everything else worked
