'mk dons have more future thats fact' - more of a future, in 1934 Peterborough United were founded and London Road was built, in 1940, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960 Peterborough won the midlands league. In 1960 we were admitted to the football league, winning division 4 in 1961 and 1974. In 1992 we won the division 2 play-offs, division 3 play-offs in 2000. League 2 runners up 08, League 1 runners up 09 and then Play-off winners again in 2011.
