@224StuartWhite224 id say the 22mm 27mm is a tad overkill, i just use stock jets that come with carb are fine. it worth porting otherwise the bigger carb wont do much.
@buggatii12 i throught there was a video on youtube? but if your going to use a different carby you dont have to remove the goverer as it wont be connected, so it wont make a difference
@anthacdc the idea of removeing govorner is so the inturnal govornor cog dont fall of and be come lodged in the motor not likely to happen but its peice of mind
@LjCraft12 yea same great project, i have done enooguh for my neeeds: shaved head, remover governer, keih hin carby and port and polished ports intake and exuast.
does it starve for fuel at high revs? and the only problem i have found with any OHV engine is that i have had a few drop valves into the piston top at high revs massive detonation im still trying to kill a 11hp flat head briggs on a potential race ride on mower but am trying to stop fuel starve at revs so far no joy on either cheers
@doggybag77 ey, nah no fuel starving at high revs and no problems at high revs with valves hitting piston and ive had it on full throttle for about 2k's on a back road. still fine.
awesome thanks for that just scored two kawasaki 250cc road bikes today lets see how one of them goes on a ride on mower will keep you informed cheers again
hay need aome help with mines, i have a 22mm carb and i am going to do the same as you but how do you get the steel rods out of the valve opening to put the adapter on ?

@loweylegend i know, thats why i removed it all im saying is, it wont reduce horsepower output wen it is not connected to the carb.
anthacdc 8 months ago
how much horsepower does it add..??
buggatii12 9 months ago
@buggatii12 i dont have a way to measure it, but it performed alot better.

Replace the stock rod flywheel and add some 18 lb springs. The first two are safety issues.
That carb is probably too large.
northerbrewer 2 years ago
thanks, but its working fine.
anthacdc 2 years ago
Good job!
northerbrewer 2 years ago
cheers.
anthacdc 2 years ago
The ARC rod is much stronger than stock and Arc flywheel is safe at high rpms.
True Honda parts are good but proper racing parts should be considered if you increase the power and RPm range beyond 12 hp and 6000rpm
