  • fit a supercharger to it

  • Would this engine be quicker with a 22mm or a 27mm Mikuni carb??? please someone tell me and what jets would be best? thankyou

  • @224StuartWhite224 id say the 22mm 27mm is a tad overkill, i just use stock jets that come with carb are fine. it worth porting otherwise the bigger carb wont do much.

  • @anthacdc What is porting the carb sorry i haven't heard about that?

  • @224StuartWhite224 porting the engine intake, research it on the internet

  • where did you get the manifold to mount the mikuni

  • @travi3so67 lawnmower

  • kthanks btw do u know how to ungovern the engine i canyt find a proper video anywhere

  • @buggatii12 i throught there was a video on youtube? but if your going to use a different carby you dont have to remove the goverer as it wont be connected, so it wont make a difference

  • @anthacdc kk thanks.

  • @anthacdc soz me again where did u get ur carb i tryed on ebay under most names could u tell me where u can get them thanks.

  • @buggatii12 no worries, i got mine on ebay, i just waited for one to come up on ebay, i got mine second hand alot cheaper than new.

  • @anthacdc kk thanks

  • @anthacdc the idea of removeing govorner is so the inturnal govornor cog dont fall of and be come lodged in the motor not likely to happen but its peice of mind

  • @loweylegend i know, thats why i removed it all im saying is, it wont reduce horsepower output wen it is not connected to the carb.

  • how much horsepower does it add..??

  • @buggatii12 i dont have a way to measure it, but it performed alot better.

  • is the carb any good?

  • @Quader150 been about 1 year and still using it, im happy with it

  • how much hp did it add

  • one wipe out that carb is gone

  • how much was that carb and whered you get it

  • @vankyfwa i got the carb of ebay it was like $15

  • ya i looked what about the twist throttle

  • what else do you have in the motor

    ???

  • @LjCraft12 its finished now, i also shaved the head, and port and polished the engine and the stuff mentioned in the vid and description

  • @anthacdc what are you running for fuel look @ my vid if you would please its a 160 running on methanol 13.74:1 compression

  • @LjCraft12 just standard fuel

  • @anthacdc i loved working on this motor its a good project are you gonna do anyghing more to it???

  • @LjCraft12 yea same great project, i have done enooguh for my neeeds: shaved head, remover governer, keih hin carby and port and polished ports intake and exuast.

  • does it starve for fuel at high revs? and the only problem i have found with any OHV engine is that i have had a few drop valves into the piston top at high revs massive detonation im still trying to kill a 11hp flat head briggs on a potential race ride on mower but am trying to stop fuel starve at revs so far no joy on either cheers

  • @doggybag77 ey, nah no fuel starving at high revs and no problems at high revs with valves hitting piston and ive had it on full throttle for about 2k's on a back road. still fine.

  • @anthacdc

awesome thanks for that just scored two kawasaki 250cc road bikes today lets see how one of them goes on a ride on mower will keep you informed cheers again

  • @doggybag77 nice

  • do u recken that would nice size for 270

and do u no y my gokart when it has been warmed up it looses heaps of power compered to start up. over heat maybe i dont no.

  • Replace the stock rod flywheel and add some 18 lb springs. The first two are safety issues.

That carb is probably too large.

  • thanks, but its working fine.

  • Good job!

  • cheers.

  • The ARC rod is much stronger than stock and Arc flywheel is safe at high rpms.

True Honda parts are good but proper racing parts should be considered if you increase the power and RPm range beyond 12 hp and 6000rpm

  • hay need aome help with mines, i have a 22mm carb and i am going to do the same as you but how do you get the steel rods out of the valve opening to put the adapter on ?

  • Hi,

if your talkign about the treaded rods, i just undid them with a pair of vice grips.

  • Damn man! that things going to hammer! :D can't wait to see it in action!.

The Honda motor in some of my vids is the GX140 4.5Hp and their damn hard to kill!

  • Yea it gonna be hell fast ive alredy started it for abit and it revs like crazy. just gotta get a new sprocket, thanks for wathcing ne vid soon
