  • @23foger Ether that or have nails in my heel. haha!

  • @stupidass1 haha, dont worry im gellin too haha

  • @23foger There is no other way. haha!

  • can you wash a musset bag suspenders m1 grang belt canteen cover and a first aid pouch in a washing machine?

  • @jamesboy223 why? i wouldn't recommend it. if anything just hose it off and let them dry. otherwise i would never wash them.

  • @jamesboy223 Yeah..never put that in a washing machine. I bought cheap chinese made repro musset bag to use, and my dog vomited on it...so I took a hose, and a gallon bucket of water saturated with castille soap, hand scrubbed it, then set it out on the driveway to dry. To my plesent suprise, hand washing it faded the cheesy fake green into a true OD#3, and now, I have even the most veteran reenactors second guess if my bag is an original. The only thing that screams fake is the lack of markings

  • hey evan you gotta make another vid

  • @THEMOVIEMEN101 No doubt about that. I have a lot more gear I have to show.

  • Where did you get all your mess gear + shaving kit? please reply......

  • @theMilkShakeMan100 Got my canteen at a reenactment. Got my Mess kit from a friend, and got my shaving kit from a local antique store.

  • @stupidass1 thank you for getting back to me. I have been trying to get a mess kit together, and find a decent repro canteen (the one i have; the top is to short so it can't come over the cover) if you have any other info on where i can get one please let me know. thx

  • @theMilkShakeMan100 Try checking At the Front. They have good reproduction WWII gear for good prices. I get a lot of my stuff from them as well. But I know some surplus stores have to have all that stuff. I know the one I go to have a big supply of new and old Mess kits.

  • @stupidass1 thanks i'll do that ASAP, And I did find a place that sells shavingkits, and a bunch of other 'personel items' thanks again -MilkShakeMan

  • @theMilkShakeMan100 No problem man. Anything to help another person out.

  • Some people might kill me for saying that:Better get a olain white T-shirt.

  • @stupidass1 no, but we talk about them up here. You guys have more people then we do one of these years im planning on going.

  • @HOTRODDION I heard about some of the battles in Oregon, I may have ti take a trip up there when I don't have a ton to do. haha! But if there were any battles to attend down in California, it's the Camp Roberts Battles. It our armor battle were everyone brings out the big guns. haha!

  • @yoyoyowasuppy I got it at a reenactment I attended. The vender was getting ready to sell his business, so I bought it for cheap. But you can find it on a number of sites. I think sportsmansguide has it. But if you look around the internet you should be able to find it somewhere.

  • @stupidass1 awesome lol thats so unfair that u got it 4 80 lol is it an original ww2 1 or a repro blankfirer

  • @101stairbornedan Pssh...I wish it was real. The walther is a blank only pistol.

  • my granpa was 2nd infantry

  • @infantryfilms2nd Awesome man!

  • WHERE did u get the m41? i got mine from what a price glory

  • @infantryfilms2nd I got mine frm a reenactment swap meet. The guy I bought the jacket from said he bought it from At the Front. I bought it for like $60. Very good price. And it holds up very well!

  • so most of your stuff is original

  • @infantryfilms2nd Yes, a lot of my gear is origonal.

  • It looks like u got shoelaces in your usmc leggings.... and with your mussette bag... that would not have been worn in 44 due to the flap with the 2 grommet holes... other than that.. your stuff is sweet. it doubled.

  • Yeah I rarely use my musset bag after I bought my Haversack. And yeah I have shoe laces right now. I might get some real laces for leggings at the next event if I have the money. And thanks a lot!

  • awsome!!! awsome gear and can you make a video of you filming your reenactment events? 5/5 and favourite.

  • Thanks a lot man! And I'll try, I leave for the next event in 4 days. So I'll see what I can do. :D

  • Decent collection.

There's a movie titled SILENT NIGHT with a scene of a German officer discovering an American soldier with an Iron Cross...The officer gets upset because he felt that the G.I. picked it off a fallen German.

  • Yeah...and I learned that the hard way. haha!

Seems like I'll never learn...all for the sake of looking cool. haha!

  • Very nice, you're off to a really good start! I'm still waiting for some gear, when it arrives, I'm going to make a video of my gear again. How many coats of dubbing did you put on?

    Mike

  • Thanks man! Yeah I put one coat of Sno-seal on my boots. Two would be great but one is all you really need. I had the dryest feet when I wore these to the snow. haha!

  • very nice gear 5*

  • Thanks a lot!
