  • @a1saouse Obvioudly you've read the bible however you are mistaken when you say he did it for nothing. There was violeve throughout the land. The nephilim, were the decendants of the watchers that were eating up all the land and animals and men. God saw too much chaos and had Noah preach for months or else. They never listened and you know the rest. Same thing that will happen in our time. Will you listen?

  • Haha. Corny but catchy.

  • on the eighth day of creation, his true love said to thee, thee shall be cursed-out! thee shall surly die,& ye shall work the ground for dis-o-beying me... that same day of creation -his true love said to thee... i-will-damn-my-creation- all of this for nothing. and i'll put enmity between two-seeds...

  • I dont think it is good to say that the seventh day is "Just for me". God's rest has to do with His Heavenly Reign; he is not putting His feet up and merely establishing a religious institution. Have you ever read John H. Walton, "The Lost World of Genesis One"? It's very good!

  • @Franco20055 He used 7 days for US, not for HIMSELF.

The 7 days express the time frames we have until this day, it's called a week.

''In the Beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth'' was on a Sunday, allegedly, and on the following week, on a Saturday, God blessed the Saturday and called it a resting day for US, not for HIMSELF.

Jewish people still refer to Saturday as the Sabbath.

Hope this helps you explain things too, Nathan. God bless you.

  • Why is there no mention of him creating the 65 million year old fossils and radioactive isotopes?

  • @maskofsan1ty Well the earth is 5bil y/o so perhaps. See reasons[.]org (put it together into the link without [ ] ) :)

  • @maskofsan1ty

the bible mentions everthing that is created. Fossils werent created direclt from god on the 7 days of the creation of the world. He did create the things that created fossils though. (:

  • @KillgerCore but according to the bible he did this six thousand years ago. Fossils are millions of years old therefore he would have to have created them and done so in a way that made them appear older than they were.

  • @maskofsan1ty thats not possible because man use to live for hundreds of years.

  • @KillgerCore what's not possible? That the fossils are millions of years old? Not sure what that has to do with living man for hundreds of years (which they didnt by the way).

  • When does Lord Xenu come in with AC130, and the magnetic ribbons thingys.

  • cool

  • that was awesome!

  • Nathan83 I've enjoyed several of your videos (one about the geneology of Jesus, and another about the mention of unicorns in the bible), however, I think your interpretation of Genesis (as depicted in this video) is outdated. I think you would enjoy watching a 5-part series on youtube called "Dr.Gerald Schroeder Genesis & The Big Bang Theory" (/watch?v=sicqKbFhcq8). Dr.Schroeder holds dual doctorates and is a professor at MIT! He shows a scientific interpretation of the "7 days". Enjoy!

  • @yistackness Mathematically you can make any 2 points meet. Dr Gerald explains nothing but personal opinions. Same thing that I'm doing this moment.

  • Actually, Dr.Schroeder used very little opinion, and hardly ever mentions God at all in the series I referred to. I strongly doubt you watched them.

  • @Postender I definitively agree with you that you are merely stipulating "personal opinions", with no scientific facts to back it up, especially against a professor at MIT with dual-doctorates, AND an understanding of the Hebrew language. You'll have to do a lot better than mud-slinging before i take your word over this doctor at MIT!!! (did I mention that he is a professor at MIT?).....(have you even ever head of MIT???)

  • @yistackness Have you ever heard of thinking for yourself? If you were born a native western, would you still be spilling your guts on youtube?

  • Hey show me a God that can make everything in exisence in one day and NOT have to rest, and I'll worship him till my death.

  • @Franco20055 Where does the Bible say that God had to rest? It never says that. It says that God rested because he was finished, not because he was tired.

When I finished making this video, I rested. Not because I was exhausted or tired, but because I was done. God rested because He got everything done already, and there wasn't anything left to do. So he rested. He didn't HAVE to rest. He WANTED to.

  • @NathanH83 hmmm thats a nice kiddy way of saying it Nathan buuut there are plenty of other words the author of Genesis could have used and it took God 7 days to create everything, kinda lame for an all powefull creator. I mean c'mon Nathan it took God one day to make plants and land!!! and you want me to pray to him......please!!

  • @Franco20055 I don't understand what you're point is.

  • @NathanH83 Nathan Nathan Nathan...(sigh).. I can't say it any clearer, an all powerfull God should be able to make everything in an instant, Your Desert God took 7 DAYS!!! How can I pray to a lame weak God like that? You tell me?

  • @Franco20055 What makes you think that God couldn't have done it any faster?

The Bible never says that He HAD to have taken 7 days. He CHOSE to take 7 days on the project, because he was laying down a work week for us.

God commands us in the 4th commandment to work 6 days and rest on the 7th. God's not going to command us to do it if He didn't already do it himself.

  • @NathanH83 sorry mate but that explanation SUCKS!!! you might wanna tell the Jews to stop "resting" on Saturday by the way. Anyway you failed to convince me that your God is all powerfull. Maybe if I was a dumbass I would believe in Jesus...but i'm not.

  • @Franco20055 methinks you protest a little too much. "I'm not a dumb***" is usually the first thing a dumb*** says.

  • @Franco20055 you're being ignorant here. You think God HAD to make everything over 6 days (you say seven, but as you already pointed out, he rested on the 7th, so nothing was created). Every believer can easily see the set-up here as a model for our lives. We work 6 days, and rest the 7th. (and no, i don't mean labor at our "jobs" per se, but we do labor (on the house, on the yard, on the car) and the 7th day is set aside to honor Him and not be overwhelmed in our work.

  • @Franco20055 Why do you keep asking this question when people have already answered you?

  • @Franco20055 *snort* hmm, what? Oh no, I wasn't sleeping, I was just resting my eyes.

  • @Franco20055 If he'd done it all in one day, you'd be whinging the exact same thing and wondering why it didn't take God 8 hours instead. Arguing how long that you think it should have taken is pointless. I'm pretty sure your standards would just scale with the length of creation time.

  • @Franco20055 Whats your point?

  • NOOOOO don't delete it! I loved it. I got a great laugh and smile.

  • Lol this was funny I liked it thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

  • This is about as seriously as one should take it....sadly we have many-a people suffering from limitless delusions.

  • @RebelGuy95 Let me guess, atheist? You know the guy who made this believes in god right? Just sayin'

  • @teamdarkhadou, nope, you're wrong.

  • @RebelGuy95 About which part? Be specific.

  • @teamdarkhadou, I am not an atheist.

  • wow this a cool video. The coolest video on youtube.

  • Creation is fiction:This is the teaching of amillenial covenant theology which is based on an allegorical interpretation of Scripture as opposed to a literal one This is the dominant teaching in most theological seminaries and has been for decades. As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peaks

  • So let me make sure I understand this correctly-

You believe, that although no animals were carnivorous before the fall of man, that somehow a snake (which has a pelvis bone from thousands of years of evolution) produced vocalizations in a language understood by a human being? How did the snake talk? Using what vocal cords? Why would an omnipotent God create a snake that could deceive a woman?

  • lol i like it

  • That was fun :-)

  • no, you have a good singing voice!

  • Hahahaha xD

  • You do know that the days of creation are different in genesis 1 and genesis 2 lol x

  • In what ways?

  • @easytiger13 Genesis 1 is a general account of what happened during those days, Genesis 2 is going throughout the days and giving a more detailed account.

  • @easytiger13 Genesis 1 is a general account of what happened during those days, Genesis 2 gives the details of the specific order they happened. (read Genesis 1 & 2 and you can see)

  • @easytiger13 No it's not, in the Bile there is a format where you mention all the facts in a story then follow up with a broader story, with more details. It's all throughout the Bible.

  • odd

  • Yes, I think it's odd too. I'm kind of embarrassed to hear my voice. Should I delete it?

  • I watched it again. Not as odd as before. LOL
