@LukeChandra Actually I can tell what exacly happened..Uchiha Madara planned to destroy the Leaf Village so he knew that he couldn't do this by himself so he summoned the ninetailed fox to aid him in combat but Madara knew that it will not obey his commands and so he figured out how to control creatures with his sharingan and so he summoned the beast and took control over it and tryed to destroy the village but than Minato came and so the story continues....

I don't know that him being the 4th son means he should be Hokage. Asuma was the 3rd's son. I think he should be Hokage just because he's one of the most powerful shinobi, and clearly one of the more clever fighters. Hokage are suppoosed to be the strongest in a village
